Bungie 'enlistees' have chance to "alpha and beta" test new IP

Activision's best bud Bungie are looking for gamers who are "willing to lend a helping hand" to the studio with stuff like playtests, surveys and betas.

They warn that "not all who enlist" will get in the programme. You need only a Bungie account and a valid email, and Lady Luck's blessing I guess.

"Making great games is no small endeavor. Today we ask you, our community, to officially put your name on the list of those willing to lend a helping hand. Service requires only a Bungie.net account and a valid email address," reads the Bungie Tester Sign-Up.

"In exchange, we’re offering you the unique opportunity to help us continue making improvements to our playlists, features, and online community…and the potential to help us shape our glorious future."

Those selected will be participating in these areas:
• Playtests and Usability Testing at Bungie
• Surveys on game playing habits
• Alpha and Beta Testing for our next game

Okay so how specifically do you sign-up? Bungie spill the beans:

1. Sign into your Bungie.net Profile
2. Navigate to your Profile Page
3. Select the “Edit Profile” tab and click on the “Profile Info” option below
4. Check the box for “Updates on how to become a Bungie Beta Tester”
5. Make sure your Email Status is “Valid/Active”
6. Make sure your Country and State information are correct
7. Save your Changes!

Activision will be publishing whatever this new franchise creation is from the Halo-creator studio, and it's believed to be going multiplatform with PC included.

Very nice! I can't wait to find out if I get to do some testing.
