Activision has announced on the official videogame website that the beta for the latest Call of Duty has now gone live on PC.
There's still a chance for fans to get in the beta programme but you'll need to pre-order COD: World At War with GAME (UK) or GameStation (US) to be handed a key.

Activision will be unleashing Jimi Hendrix and The Raconteurs as downloadable content soon after the release of Guitar Hero: World Tour this November.
Jimi Hendrix will come with three master tracks and so will The Raconteurs. The DLC will be available on Xbox 360, PS3 and Wii. World Tour is expected November 7th.

Previously known as project 'Dimitri', Lionhead Studios' top secret new game has been hinted at from Peter Molyneux before as being truly ground breaking.
A Lionhead representative has told VG247 that we'll be able to see what all this fuss is about in early '09. The game is said to be the result of a successful experiment.

Twilight Creations have teamed up with Big Rooster to splatter brains and gorge on guts, presumably they'll then get to working on the videogame.
The Zombies!!! game is expected for next year and could eventually include releases on "the Nintendo DS and Wii systems." It's a tile-based game plus zombies; it's therefore cool.

3D Realms founder and the original Max Payne producer Scott Miller has revealed that Rockstar Games who bought the IP intended to stop production.

The Lionhead bossman thanks the press for their "patience and belief" when diving in to review Fable II.
He understands it was difficult given the scope of the world saying it "must have been one of the hardest games to review." He loved the variety in characters too.

In an upcoming update this November the PC version of Frontlines: Fuel of War will receive the additional Xbox 360 DLC for free in the 1.3.0 patch.
The content will include four new maps for the online shooter and will sport two new jet vehicles, one for either side. It'll have one new weapon as well.

The remake of the 1994 classic fighting game will be dropkicking its way onto Xbox 360 and PS3 soon enough teases Capcom.
The game is being brought up to 1080p standards with redrawn graphics as well as some balancing tweaks here and there. Don't forget a remixed soundtrack too - all "very soon".
