dtp Entertainment announces Xbox 360 version of Gray Matter

dtp Entertainment has announced at a press conference in Oxford/UK that Gray Matter, an upcoming adventure game, will be released for the Xbox 360.

The Xbox 360 version of Gray Matter will be released simultaneously with the PC version in Q4 2010. The game’s control system has been adjusted to fit the console’s requirements – other than that, Gray Matter’s PC and Xbox 360 versions are pretty much identical.

Microsoft released a dashboard update for Xbox 360 a while back that blocked all third-party memory units from working - Datel got real upset.

They were selling their own with huge memory advantages over Microsoft's own. Datel is "gratified" the US court dismissed Microsoft's appeal.

Blizzard's IP rights "should be respected" says CEO Mike Morhaime, so now they're looking "for a new partner" in South Korea. Scandal related?

Publisher Activision is in hot water with employees again as 38 Infinity Ward developers band together and launch a suit over unpaid monies.

$28m has been doled out but $54m is still owed. Acti says they retain "discretion" when to pay up, with devs saying it keeps them "hostage".

Community manager Seth Killian of Capcom has revealed that their Japan HQ is "convinced" the average American loves Frank West.

The Dead Rising star will appear in "as many games as they can" fit him in. He's got cameos in Tatsunoko Vs Capcom and Lost Planet 2.

This year's March enjoyed the greatest sales of any for Xbox Live, all thanks to Microsoft's Block Party and its highlights of Perfect Dark and more.

This is the first time March revenues have beat 10m, with a rise of 41 percent over 2009's. Newcomer Toy Soldiers sold over 209,000 downloads.

THQ gives early access to UFC Undisputed 2010 demo

THQ has announced today that gamers who register on the UFC Undisputed 2010 community website will receive early access to the demo, which is going to be released on Thursday, April 29 on PlayStation Network and Xbox Live.

The playable UFC Undisputed 2010 demo allows players to jump right into Exhibition Mode or challenge friends offline in Tournament Mode, and will feature four Light Heavyweight Fighters – Mauricio "Shogun" Rua, Lyoto "The Dragon" Machida, Rashad "Sugar" Evans and Quinton "Rampage" Jackson.

That means the next Mega Man helping has a name? Sure sounds like it and Capcom are pretty good when it comes to their trademarking.

Namco Bandai has revealed that it will be releasing the first downloadable content for Dead to Rights: Retribution on June 1.

The DLC has been named Gac Pack and will cost 400 MS points/$4.99. It will unlock the Jack Pack and Shadow Pack content that was only previously available to pre-order owners, along with two new game modes.

Square Enix today announced two new add-on packs for Just Cause 2. Available this spring, the "Black Market Aerial Pack" and the "Black Market Boom Pack" each contain three Agency items for causing maximum chaos on the island of Panau.

Available from April 29th, the "Black Market Aerial Pack" is the ultimate accessory for airborne agents. Taking full advantage of Just Cause 2’s vertical gameplay.

The upcoming Absolute Power expansion for Tropico 3 might not reach Xbox 360, as publisher Kalypso say they're focusing on the PC.

While they didn't mention it was cancelled, they said launching the add-on in May for PC is their primary concern right now. Needs the original.

Pricing is a little too high for our bargain sniffing noses (GBP 19.99). Also joining is SHReK the THiRD, which isn't on gamers' hot lists for a reason.

Plan on owning a future VAIO PC? Well if you do then maybe a PS3 with firmware 3.30 will help sweeten the deal because it can remotely control.

Publisher Trion wants a slice of the MMORTS scene and they have End of Nations to get it, with combat zones raging 24/7 next year for PC.

This may be the same online RTS that studio Petroglyph was said to be working on. It'll have thousands of commanders duking it out.

US Supreme Court is to rule on California's 2005 violent game law

The state of California in 2005 signed a bill that forbid selling games containing violent acts against humans to minors, but it hasn't been in effect.

Two lower federal courts ruled against it, and now the US Supreme Court will handle it. ESA "are hopeful" it will be struck down as unconstitutional.
