Capcom's Keiji Inafune would love to have multiple endings in the undead sequel, just like the first game did, however they're too early in development to make it definitive.

The Capcom boss "would love" to include them but they haven't reached a point they can decide "one way or the other" yet, he can't officially say "yes or no." Game footage is out.

The impending EarthWorm Jim goodness coming to fans through digital channels will be based on the original Sega Genesis version, but will include the bonus 'Big Bruty' level.

The remake will feature several modes of difficulty, better visuals with smooth animations and "some surprises" to be revealed later. Original devs not involved; Perry and Nepal.

Adventure man Dave Grossman has been evasive in his reply to the question many fans want answered, and that is will Day of the Tentacle return? He points to LucasArts.

The reason Monkey Island has taken so long to be revived is because LucasArts "were reluctant." When Darrell Rodriguez stepped in, things got moving on old adventure IP again.

Capcom might release the extra content included in the Resident Evil 5: Alternative Edition for the Xbox 360, though it would most likely be in the form of DLC and not on a disc.

The Alternative version is designed to capitalise on the PS3 motion tech due in the spring, but it also adds the original Resident Evil mansion in a playable sequence, not just a flashback.

Aion's first fortress has fallen, Origine legion claims the honour

NCsoft's Aion MMO has had its first fortress busted open and taken by the Origine legion, a group on the European server Suthran. The whole siege took just an hour 15 minutes.

Capturing the fortress gave the Origine legion access to a special dungeon, which they've already pilfered for loot. They used a level 25 raid to accomplish a level 35 objective.

Resident Evil Afterlife set for release next autumn

Resident Evil Afterlife, the fourth film in the series, has entered production and will be released in cinemas next autumn, according to ShockTillYouDrop.

Milla Jovovich returns as Alice, and will be supported by Ali Larter and Wentworth Miller, with Ali reprising her role as Claire Redfield and Wentworth as Chris Redfield. Paul W.S. Anderson returns to direct the movie, and is looking to shoot it in 3D.

If you own a PlayTV for your PlayStation 3, Sony UK is asking you to re-scan for channels on September 30th to ensure that you are able to receive all the digital channels.

You can simply go to ‘Settings’ choose ‘Set-up’ then ‘Channel-scan’ and you should be finished.

Paradox Interactive has announced the Elven Legacy Trilogy, three expansion packs for the Fantasy Strategy title Elven Legacy from Paradox Interactive, releasing in October, November and December 2009.

Continuing the intense tale of a world that pits elf against human, the first of the trilogy, Ranger, is set to release on October 20th and will feature 16 new campaign missions, two new main heroes, along with new artifacts and spells.

The Xbox 360 doesn't reach its technical limit with Forza Motorsport 3 says developer Turn 10. "Of course not," says game director Dan Greenawalt, it's "a really powerful" platform.

You always use "100 percent" of the hardware, but as they're first-party and have "really clever" developers on staff you "learn tricks" along the way. Greenawalt likens it to Tetris.

Minh Le who co-created the amateur mod Counter-Strike, which later hit commercial success, has finally unveiled his next project to the world. It's called 'Tactical Intervention'.

Le joined Valve in 2000 but left on good terms eventually. The mod maker instead secured funds from a South Korean IT firm for development. His new game enters beta soon.

Some blue skied artwork for Sega Racing Classic has caused fans to feel nostalgic for Daytona, Sega's old racing series that make up its arcade heritage.

LucasArts has confirmed that its recently announced puzzle platformer Lucidity will be available to download for 800 MS Points on XBLA and for $9.99 across various digital download services.

If you're so inclined then completing a chapter in Uncharted 2: Among Thieves could automatically twitter your accomplishment for you - but not anymore, or at least for a while.

The "frequency of updates" basically got on everyone's nerves, with some twitter accounts being update many times within an hour. The chapter twitter support has been disabled.

Funcom projects delayed by staff lay-offs

Age of Conan developer Funcom has confirmed that it's laying off 20 per cent of its workforce, which will result in a delay for its upcoming MMO The Secret World. This delay could push the games release back by several months, reports E24.

Funcom haven't confirmed a solid date for The Secret World, but we did hear that it would be released in late 2010. This delay is likely to push the conspiracy-themed MMO back to an early 2011 release.

Polyphony Digital's boss Kazunori Yamauchi has hinted at Gran Turismo 5's release here in the west saying it will likely be around the time it's launched in Japan, he thinks.

Marketing is "still discussing their issues," and that is why no firm date has been made official yet. GT5 is pegged for March 2010 in Japan. This dispels PS3 bundle rumours for '09.
