According to Jeuxvideo.fr a Capcom press site has given the nod to the game being released on both next-gen consoles as well as on the PC this winter.

While this unidentified Capcom source remains erm, unidentified, it wouldn't be a stretch for the game to bust moves on the PC. Capcom are yet to dispel or bury this.

There's a bucket-o-plenty of new and fresh online stuff coming to GOW2 - new modes, new weapons, new moves.

There'll be a dozen maps launched with the game on disc; more will undoubtedly flow through DLC later. Some Meatflag action anyone?

The future adoption of an encryption chip fixed on PC motherboards known as TPM "will, in fact, absolutely stop piracy of gameplay."

A bold proclamation indeed, though Bushnell admits music and movies will remain susceptible - "if you can watch it and you can hear it, you can copy it."

The next instalment for Telltales psychotic crime-fighting duo is coming early next year, with the first six episodes releasing for Wii this fall.

They're still looking to bring the episodic hilarity to Xbox Live at some point in the future as well on PlayStation 3 proclaiming "we want our games to be everywhere!"

GamersGate host worldwide download premiere for Imperium Romanum add-on

GamersGate announced today that it will be hosting the worldwide download premiere for the first add-on to the historical city builder Imperium Romanum. The Conquest of Britannia adds four new missions and a plethora of game updates as the player faces the challenge of conquering the British Isles.

Published by Kalypso Media, the add-on is scheduled for release on May 30 and has a Suggested Retail Price of €4.99/$5.99

World in Conflict Update #008 coming soon

Sierra Entertainment has revealed that the eighth update for World in Conflict fixes balancing and bug issues and introduces some new features, like improved in-game voting, new ignore functions and improved network code stability. There are also several additions to Massgate, including new banners and new explanatory texts for missing content.

Last Day of Word announced today that Virtual Villager 3: The Secret City, the latest entry in the Virtual Villagers simulation game, is now available to download and play. A brand new chapter in the game will put players on the northern shores of the fabled island of Isola. This latest offering has a larger map, all-new puzzles and mysteries, and introduces innovative new features such as a Tribal Chief and Real-Time Weather.

In a bid to "push the quality and the bounds of the system" the corporate giant has decided to fund a fulltime XBLA development studio.

Xbox Live's Mark Whitten reveals the company is "putting its money where its mouth is" and hopes to get some big and original concepts for their online service.

The process will start if a XBLA game has a metacrtic score less than 65 and hasn't been selling well. The XBLA community is then given a 3 month notice before it gets pulled.

Mark Whitten, Xbox Live general manager, said this will help "focus the catalogue more on larger, more immersive games".
