For eager Witcher fans out there - good news. Developer CD Projekt RED has spruced up The Witcher 2 main site with some juicy clips.

Konrad Tomaszkiewicz, Adam Badowski and Tomasz Gop give a chat in a developer diary. The sequel is out Q1 2011 for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.

Nomrua: Kingdom Hearts III "already underway," won't end with 3rd

Tetsuya Nomrua is Kingdom Hearts' series director, and he's revealed the third game is in the pipe but "depends on" Final Fantasy XIII Versus.

Kingdom Hearts III won't end the series and hero Sora will always be "until the end," another story won't begin. Two other titles on the go.

The sequel to CD Projekt RED's The Witcher is now officially declared by the studio, and has been built from scratch with all new technology.

The Witcher 2 "will be loved both" by fans and first-timers. It's been in the works for the "past two-and-a-half years," with an event in Poland today.

BioWare Clock Countdown

The industry seems to have a thing for countdown clocks, don't they?

Admittedly, I can't remember Bioware having done one in the past, but today a clock appeared on the Mass Effect, Dragon Age and Bioware main pages that seems to be counting down to... something.

Final Fantasy Agito XIII still on, Square confirms project heart beat

Square Enix's Yusuke Naora, art director for Final Fantasy Agito XIII, has revealed the game is still in development and on track for the PSP.

The project is finally coming together they revealed, but couldn't dish out specifics. Naora-san wants to show it off but can't for quite a while.

Lionhead Studios big boss Peter Molyneux has announced the studio will be releasing episodic DLC post-release, to extend the world.

Molyneux says it "would be brilliant" to walk through "Charles Dickens' London," and they hope to capture some of that grime in Fable III.

Square Enix CEO Yoichi Wada has mused about the possibility of a remake of what is consider the best Final Fantasy title - Final Fantasy 7

Speaking to Siliconera during a FFXIII launch party, Wada said, “We’re going to explore the possibility – whether or not we’re going to do it, if we’re going to do it, and the platform.”

NIS America announces Trinity Universe for PS3, confirmed for US and Europe

NIS America has announced that Trinity Universe, an all-new RPG for the PlayStation 3 will be making its way to Europe and North America this June.

Nippon Ichi Software, Gust, and Idea Factory have joined forces to develop Trinity Universe. The game combines the characters of the Disgaea and Atelier series together in an original world setting. Players will take on the role of either a male main character or a female main character. Both of these characters have their own original story with many guest appearances. The game will be in full 3D with anime style artwork

In a world were companies seem to think they can charge whatever they want for something that not many years ago would have been given freely, it's nice to see some developers at least being reasonable.

BioWare release the hover tank DLC for Mass Effect 2 tomorrow, completely free for the Cerberus Network enabled. That's right - free!

What's not free however are new outfits for Jack, Garrus and Thane. The Alternate Appearance Pack costs 160 MSP and BioWare Points.

Warner announce 'The Lord of the Rings: War in the North' for 2011

Snowblind Studios is developing 'The Lord of the Rings: War in the North' for Warner Bros, an action-RPG with "innovative online" gameplay.

It's to draw more from "the famous book trilogy," than the hit movies. It follows it's "own distinct path" as players form their own fellowship.

Tucked in with the Dragon Age Origins: Awakening expansion for some are cards with the blood dragon iconic to BioWare's new franchise.

Stamped at the top is the date "02.01.2011" which could well be the release date for Dragon Age 2. It's most likely because EA already said so.

Sony laments not having Demon's Souls "a first-party title" globally

Sony Japan published Demon's Souls in Asia but outside the region it has only reached North America thanks to Atlus who picked it up.

Sony's localisation liaison Yeonkyung Kim said at GDC this "was a mistake," because they should have embraced it; greatly underestimated.

According to the online CV of a developer at publisher Ubisoft, they're busy with some next-gen "RPG title" for both the Xbox 360 and PS3.

Ubi announced 'Might and Magic: Clash of Heroes' but Capybara Games is handling that, so this appears to be something entirely new.

Bethesda today announced that it will publish Hunted: The Demon's Forge, a third-person co-op fantasy action game. Hunted is being developed at inXile Entertainment for PS3, Xbox 360 and Games for Windows.

"We are thrilled to be working with Bethesda Softworks on this upcoming release that takes us back to our roots," said Brian Fargo, Founder of inXile Entertainment. "Bethesda's track record speaks for itself and the game we are developing for them is no exception."

Fable II Episodic was "massively successful" says Molyneux

Last year Lionhead tested an episodic release of Fable II over the Xbox Live Marketplace. The game was cut into 5 different episodes with the first one being free, and the remaining four priced at $10 each.

Lionhead Boss Peter Molyneux has been talking about the episodes and says that it was "massively successful".

According to a job listing with Microsoft Game Studios, developer Lionhead Studios needs (or needed) a Network Programmer for Fable III.

Specifically their responsibilities were to provide cross-platform gameplay for Xbox 360 and PC Fable III. The listing has since been pulled.

BioWare heads Ray Muzyka and Greg Zeschuk have said how "confident" they are of DLC the studio is building, how it'll be "satisfying for players".

The studio has the "DLC team, and main team" on the go. More new content to come after looking at "responses from the fans"; see what they want.

Peter Molyneux has touched on Project Natal's involvement with Fable III, which is due out this year, claiming it's "wonderfully additive" to it.

The Lionhead Studios boss also revealed that Fawlty Towers and Monty Python star John Cleese will be playing the role of our dutiful butler.

Final Fantasy writer Motomu Toriyama has said how future "story-driven" instalments may be less linear thanks to the "base technology" in place.

Final Fantasy XIII took a long time to make because of HD visuals. To have towns like in the old games would have taken too "long to develop."
