NCSoft has released a nine-minute long video for Aion that reveals plans for new features and graphical improvements. It's entitled “Vision” and could suggest that the firm is working on game updates or the first expansion pack.

Tekken 6 Patch detailed

Namco Bandi Games has revealed additional details about the forthcoming free downloadable update that will enhance the online experience for players of Tekken 6 on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. The patch is expected to be released on 26th November.

The update is separate from the online co-op Scenario Campaign mode download which is scheduled for release separately this winter.

Assassin's Creed II sells over 1.6 million units in its first week

Ubisoft announced today that Assassin's Creed II has sold over 1.6 million units in its first week worldwide. This represents 32% growth over the first week sales of Assassins Creed.

Assassin's Creed II invites players to become Ezio, a privileged young noble in Renaissance Italy who's been betrayed by the rival ruling families of Italy. Ezio's subsequent quest for vengeance plunges players into a captivating and epic story that offers more variety in missions, surprising and engaging new game play elements, diverse weapons, incredible depth and lasting appeal and a profound character progression that will appeal to fans of the original Assassin's Creed as well as entice players new to the brand.

That teasing surprise for Mass Effect 2 this week from BioWare's community man has been revealed, and it's a website "revamp" to go live soon.

Yeah it's a major let down, unless it sports some new stuff for us to pick over? Apparently it's "looking really cool" says a biased BioWare.

LucasArts: Online co-op for LEGO Indiana Jones 2 in "a few weeks"

Apparently those guys over at LucasArts have noticed that "everyone wants" online co-op play for LEGO Indiana Jones 2. It's totally true.

A patch for the game is in the works and should be ready in "a few weeks" time, for Xbox 360 and PS3 LEGO gamers. No user-created sharing.

Microsoft target of Datel lawsuit, denying "benefits of competition"

The news that Microsoft will permaban all third-party memory units from Xbox 360 consoles through an update hasn't gone down well, not at all.

Datel makes said third-party goods, and frankly is far better in capacity and pricing, and is now taking Microsoft to court for screwing consumers.

The next issue of OPM could well blow the lid off Dead Space 2, or at least an "unannounced horror game," by their account.

Its teaser includes a concept piece from Dead Space, so dots connect. Spike's VGAs could beat OPM to it with planned 'world premieres'.

The last two character class reveals for Star Wars The Old Republic are the Jedi Consular and Sith Inquisitor, which focus on ranged abilities.

The Jedi Knight and Sith Warrior are more melee orientated, and "balanced well" against the ranged, revealed LucasArts' Jake Neri.

Activision "would love" monthly subs for Guitar Hero DLC library

Kai Huang is the Guitar Hero series founder, and he reveals that publishing giant Activision is seriously considering a paid-for online service.

Basically you'd cough up a monthly subscription for constant updates to Guitar Hero. There's "a lot of issues" around music licensing.

Yep, that lovable A.I. skamp Skynet is one step closer thanks to the Sony PlayStation 3. The U.S.A.F. is buying up loads more PS3s to that end.

2,200 will join the already 336 hooked up in Rome, New York. They're interested in the architecture of the Cell Processor, not Uncharted 2.

Leaked video of Pandemic's Mercenaries MMO, EA is 'on the fence'

An internal clip of what appears to be Pandemic Studios' work on a Mercenaries MMO project has surfaced. It's called 'Mercs, Inc'.

Visual effects artist Dorian Compo says it's a "multiplayer sandbox game," who was let go. Sources say it's in pre-production at EA LA.

J Allen Brack of Blizzard admits they discuss Warcraft 4 regularly, but right now they're finishing up StarCraft 2 and its two expansions.

That means the team is "booked for the next few years." Blizzard is "all excited" about Warcraft 4, "in concept" at least says Brack.

Developed by A2M, Revenge of the Wounded Dragon will be hitting the PlayStation Store this week in the US at least, no EU word yet.

The ESRB blurted out its existence first, but now it's all official and stuff. It's all about beating the pixels out of others, kung-fu style - yeah!

Skateboarding icon Tony Hawk revealed Activision has Ride already setting up for a sequel, because they've only just "tapped" the tech.

Tony Hawk: Ride comes with a skateboard peripheral, weighing in at $120 in the US. Sequel needs "seamless way" from vert to street mode.

Over 16,000 accounts banned in Aion

NCsoft's revealed that it's rebooted the servers for Aion and have banned over 16,000 accounts for use of 3rd party software (botting) or participating in RMT (gold buying/selling).

"As you probably noticed, we've completed a server wide reboot without much notice on a day that we typically don't perform maintenance. It's only fair that we keep you in the loop and make sure you know what's going on. Over the last week we've been working on a list, we've been checking it twice, and today we found out who was naughty or nice. Ban Hammer Claus just came to town. When the servers come back online, nearly 16,000 accounts will have been removed from the game." said a spokesperson on the official forums.
