With the Byron Review recommending that the BBFC could take over fulltime in regulating certification for videogames in the UK, Dark Knight is proving troublesome.
Critics lampooned the BBFC for slapping a 12A rating on the film as parents complained of having to "shield their children's eyes from shocking scenes," reported the Daily Mail. | |

Dead Rising was a big success on the Xbox 360, and now Capcom may be looking to develop a version for the PlayStation 3, as hinted on the US PlayStation Blog by Capcom's John Diamonon. A question was asked about Capcom's commitment to the PlayStation 3, and if a port of Dead Rising would be a possibility. Diamonon then responded with; "you haven't seen the last of Dead Rising". | |

Flagship Studios was beset with troubling woe again and again until its doors closed, buckled and burnt to the ground. Now Runic Games has emerged.
The new studio is made up of the Mythos team and is headed by Travis Baldree and Max Schaefer, both influential figures of the MMO now in limbo. | |

During an interview with MTV Multiplayer, BioWare co-founder Greg Zeschuk said that regarding "other post-release content" the team is looking into it.
He noted that the studio is "pretty busy these days." Mass Effect's first DLC was 'Bring Down The Sky', an optional side quest that sadly didn't meet much fanfare. | |

Talking with fans at the Star Trek convention in Las Vegas last night, Jack Emmert (Cryptic creative lead) said that Star Trek Online would be out sooner rather than later, although no release date was official announced at the event. Jack mentioned that development would not take too long due to the technology that had already been built from the production of City of Heroes and Champions Online, while joking about the game being released sooner than three years. | |
