They enjoy how excited the fans are to get "their mitts on it," though knowing how expectant fans are becoming puts "a lot of pressure" on CD Projekt. Similarities equal differences.

Toejam & Earl co-creator Greg Johnson said that Sega doesn't use his characters because it doesn't want to pay for the rights to do so. This is in response to the news that Ryo Hazuki would be appearing in Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing, which left fans asking Johnson to let Sega include Toejam & Earl in the game.

"We would LOVE for Toejam and Earl to be included," says Johnson. "As it happens, Sega doesn't want to pay us for that. They essentially want it for free, and they want to lock up future rights to the property, both of which we said 'no' to... if you want to be pro-active then by all means let Sega know that you feel like you want it, and they should pay a fair license fee to the IP holders."

Valve has said the ratings decision on an edited Left 4 Dead 2 from the OFLC is practically here, we could be hearing something about it later today. It's a backup plan.

Gabe Newell would much rather see the full unedited version get through the appeals process, they don't want to "ship this second version." It's there to ensure a release to fans.
