Meanwhile, in Buzz Monkey town, the developers site lists that they're working on the "next smash success." Both studios brought Tomb Raider: Underworld to life, see where this is going?

According to a source, LucasArts has some rather juicy announcement planned for this year's E3, something about reviving a classic title.

This has of course whipped up a frenzy among Grim Fandango and Monkey Island cultists, or 'fans' if your pc about it. For now it's just rumour, JUST RUMOUR. Though maybe true.

Its long been thought an Xbox 360 version of Turbine's MMO Lord of the Rings Online has been in the works, now a survey seems to almost confirm it.

It basically prods gamers, asking them that after forking out $59.99 for the box would you "pay a monthly" sub of $12.99? It also hints a free-to-play model with micro transactions.

The rise of the zombie isn't something to fear, at least in videogame terms, as Treyarch's Josh Olin admits he could battle undead for "the rest of time."

Recently the undead have been showing up a lot lately in games, but that doesn't mean were saturated yet notes the Call of Duty dev. Next up are Imperial Jap Zombies in Map Pack 2.

Dan Houser, that guy from Rockstar Games, has revealed multiplayer for Red Dead Redemption will involve charging on "horses and stagecoaches and trains".

Blasting the crap out of one another online hasn't been "finalized" yet, with Houser admitting they're "still learning a lot" about multiplayer. Had "quite a leap" from GTA IV to DLC.

Final Fantasy XIII on Xbox 360 could be "English only", disc space

During an interview, FFXIII producer Yoshinori Kitase has said the team are "thinking" about including only the English voice work and not any Japanese.

There'd be "enough memory" with Blu-ray on PS3, but the Xbox 360 "probably not" due to disc space limitations. It's vague but the PS3 version outside of Japan could contain both.

Having Alan Wake delayed for so long is apparently a good thing, otherwise Imagination Studios and Remedy might never have gotten together.

Thanks to their motion-capture tech, Alan Wake is looking very much alive with developer Remedy "extremely pleased" with the process. This partnership news allays fears for the game.

An Xbox 360 motion-sensing camera is true says Wall Street Journal

Citing "people familiar" with the matter, the Wall Street Journal says Microsoft will be rolling out a motion-sensing camera for their next-gen console.

It'll give "more accurate control" over games than previous similar technology has achieved, it would sit near the TV much like the Wii sensor bar and EyeToy. Could see an E3 showcasing.

Blizzard community man Zarhym has affirmed that their new MMO project isn't related to any previous intellectual property in the Blizz vault.

He reiterated it's "a brand new franchise", meaning all the "lore, art, and game play" have no pre-existing foundation. The process is "overwhelming" but the Blizz "track record" says it all.

Indie developer Capy is working "super-hard" to bring PSN gamers "technicolor barf" with Critter Crunch, and it's all to do with food-chains.

It'll have versus and co-op multiplayer modes, and a swamps worth of trophies. What's not to like about feeding critters to other critters "until they burst"? The first trailer has been released.

Cyanide Studios now hold the interactive rights to George R.R Martin's "A Song of Ice and Fire", both team up for fantasy themed partnership.

The indie French developer are "huge fans" of Martin's work, with plot "twists and turns" inherent in the books helping them develop the videogames. HBO plan a TV series of it too.

Valve have revealed perhaps the greatest unlockable weapon yet, the Huntsman, which will pin "bolt-riddled" corpses to the wall, eliciting much glee.

The description was a little misleading, and Valve confirms it won't stun enemies but offers a humorous 'after death' display. The Sniper update will be debuting in the next few days.

Across 10 glorious pages, the US mag reveals the game will be 'vacationing' in Russian snow tops, Afghan deserts and Rio de Janeiro streets. It's "wide open" and sports co-op.

An email has been doing the rounds with US press, it's from Kojima Productions and they're teasing something which seemingly will arrive this Friday.

The email was subject titled "T -3 days" and pointed to a Kojima webpage, but it doesn't exist quite yet. It could be anything at this point, even just a glimpse of something for E3.

Superhero MMO City of Heroes will soon be a flip-flop capital for heroes and villains who can't quite decide if they're a saint, or a sinner.

Black Bean Games has revealed the racing title will hit June 26th on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC with 'mid-pricing' to ease gamers into the new franchise.

We all know the injustice of The Prophet of Regret's land speed being slightly higher than other leader units, well that's been stamped out.

While not bulging with balance tweaks this Halo Wars title update does carry six of them. The 'Ready for the Sequel' achievement works properly now, with Crevice and Exile enjoying easier troop movement.
