Heavy Rain requires 4.2GB install

According to various reports, Sony's Heavy Rain will require a very large amount of space on your PS3's hard drive, taking over 4.2GB of space to install.

Although you'll be pleased to know that there will be a guide during the installation that shows you how to make a Swan Origami (Featured in the game), which will hopefully keep you entertained until it has finished.

Broadcaster CBS wasn't happy with EA's Dante's Inferno ad that they submitted for a premium slot during Sunday's NFL Super Bowl.

The violence and all that was fine, but its "Go To Hell" message was not. This tagline first struck in its debut trailer. EA alters it for CBS.

Koei confirms Quantum Theory delay in Europe

Koei has told Strategy Informer that Quantum Theory has been delayed in Europe, confirming reports that the game had been delayed until late 2010 in the US and Japan.

"We can confirm that Quantum Theory has been moved to later in 2010. We
feel the game deserves optimum development time, and we aim to deliver the
very best title we can."
said Ben Lawrence, PR Manager for Koei. "We are still thoroughly committed to Quantum Theory and this short delay can only make for a stronger, more entertaining game."

Warner Bros. has told Strategy Informer that LEGO Harry Potter: Years 1-4 will be released in May 2010 for Xbox 360, Wii, PlayStation 3, Nintendo DS, PSP and PC.

Playing as Harry Potter, Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger, as well as more than 100 other favourite characters, gamers will have the opportunity to attend lessons, cast spells, mix potions, fly on broomsticks and complete tasks to earn rewards. Throughout the game, players will also have the freedom to explore the wizarding world including Hogwarts castle, Diagon Alley, the Forbidden Forest and the village of Hogsmeade.

Publisher Sega would sign off on Shenmue III but only as an exclusive, and that means the platform holder needs to cough up money too.

The original game released in 1999 with an estimated budget of $70m, the most expensive videogame project at the time. Return is doubtful.

Bank robbing action in 1969 San Francisco has been dumped by publisher Codemasters, in favour of "high quality titles" elsewhere they say.

Developer inXile Entertainment was behind it, with Heist announced back in 2007. It's "much extended" dev time gave them cold feet.

Sony has confirmed that the hotly anticipated God of War III will have Kratos in US shops March 16th, along with his badass Ultimate Edition.

That's got "premium collectibles and digital content" the standard won't have. A new trailer will debut February 11th on GameTrailers TV.

SCEA has announced that Quantic Dreams' Heavy Rain is now golden in North America, and its off to the factory - it'll make it for February 23rd.

A demo is also on its way for February 11th on the US PlayStation Store, and will include two chapters, with Norman Jayden and Scott Shelby.

Publisher Sega will reveal on Monday the true name for Project Needlemouse, their 2D HD revival of Sonic the Hedgehog - if demands are met.

They want 100 pieces of concept art from fans, all of our favourite "oldschool Badniks". They promise a "cool extra bonus" too, on Monday.

Namco Bandai has confirmed that Dead to Rights Retribution will be released for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 in Europe on April 16.

Shuhei Yoshida of SCE has said how they could of had God of War II made for the PS3's launch, but he "firmly stood by" its PS2 release.
