Major Nelson has confirmed that Serious Sam HD will be available to download from the Xbox Live Marketplace this Wednesday for 1200 MS Points.

The PC version was released on November 24, 2009, so Xbox 360 gamers have had quite a long wait for it.

Rebellion has confirmed that a demo for Aliens vs. Predator will be released, although no specific platforms have been mentioned.

"There will be a demo... That's all we can say." said lead designer Alex Moore in an interview with AvP Galaxy.

Halo: Reach will have multiplayer action, that's a given, but developer Bungie is keeping one mode very close to their chest - except to tease.

It'll involve "some number" of players against others in a "rousing and highly competitive" game, with points awarded for "all kinds" of stuff.

According to a developer source, the next Modern Warfare won't be from Call of Duty veteran Infinity Ward. Instead it's going all Canadian?

Sledgehammer Games is new, founded by ex-Viscerals, and is tipped to be taking on the project. They're looking for an online designer.

They just can't help themselves. Microsoft has reminded us all that the first Modern Warfare 2 DLC is this spring, and only on Xbox 360.

At least it'll hit their platform first anyway, in the form of two map packs from developer Infinity Ward. They've been in the works since November.

Those other FPS games out, with online? They're shallow compared to Battlefield, says Bad Company 2 producer Karl-Magnus Troedsson.

He doesn't "want to judge" others but reckons the Battlefield team has it right when it comes to online play. They got shock paddles and junk!

EA has been very quiet on revealing many specifics about the new and improved Medal of Honor, set in modern day Afghanistan. Too quiet.

Microsoft has confirmed that D3Publisher's Matt Hazard: Blood Bath and Beyond will be released on the Xbox Live Arcade this Wednesday.

The PS3 version will be released on Thursday, with both being priced at $15 / 1200 MS Points.

Aliens vs Predator will be going on sale in Australia after all as publisher Sega wins their appeal against the OFLC, who refused to classify.

They applaud the review board on their decision that "clearly considers the context" of the IP. This is "a big win" for Aussie gamers everywhere.

They're put out a new trailer and it's got "100 percent in-game footage", showing vehicles, explosions, gunfire, booby-trapped corpses...

Modern Warfare 2 community manager Robert Bowling has confirmed that the upcoming patch is currently in the testing stages, so it should be available pretty soon.

"Update in Test now: 1887s Balanced. Public 'private' Match fix. Infinite Ammo fix. Prestige Hack on PS3 fix. Texture Hack on PC fix."
said Bowling.

An online CV has possibly revealed a secret, now who'd have thought that? According to one artist CV, a 'Project Hades' is in the works.

It's for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC. Previously the staffer worked on F.E.A.R. 2 and its DLC offerings. Warner "don't comment on speculation".

Valve has announced 'The Passing', which releases in "early spring," and has L4D2 and L4D Survivors working together "in one campaign."
