GSC Game World and Koch Media today announced that it plans to release S.T.A.L.K.E.R: Clear Sky on August 29th, 2008 for the PC.

Tanya Byron, a TV child psychologist, was enlisted by the Prime Minister to conduct The Byron Review last year.

She fully recommends the games industry in the UK be subject to a fixed single system with a set of recognisable symbols, similar to what the BBFC employs for film.

Telltale Games reveals Sam and Max Season Two finale

Telltale has today revealed the first details for the Sam & Max Season Two finale. The episode, entitled What's New, Beelzebub?, will debut Thursday, April 10 for subscribers of GameTap. Its worldwide release will follow one day later, on Friday, April 11, from Telltale's website.

The board at Take-Two have rattled their briefcases and pens in disapproval once again at EA's offering of $26 a share. They say they'll explore more options after the release of Grand Theft Auto IV, a pivotal release for the company and one that EA wanted.

Take-Two says to "Not Tender Shares at $26 a Share" to their stockholders, not to feel pressure from EA's deadline tactic.

Irrgheist Games developing two new racers for the PC

Irrgheist Games, developers of H-Craft Championship, has revealed that it is currently working on two projects for the PC. Both are racing themed games, but the first one appears to be a futuristic Street racing game named Sci-Fi City, whilst the second one is a Sci-Fi Rally game that will feature volcano-mountains and snowy woods.

During a press conference in Paris this morning, Electronic Arts have revealed a special Collector's Edition for the upcoming Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning MMORPG. The pack will include miniature models of warboss Grumlock and shaman Gazbag.

A 128-paged hardback novel, a 224-paged art book and in-game content bonuses too, pre-ordering nets even more goodies.

Shares for Ubisoft jump 12%, publisher excited at movie prospects

After the company’s announcement that they've bought the rights to the Tom Clancy name on books, movies and games investors see a 5.91 EURO rise in shares. This is the biggest rise for Ubisoft in two months bringing the total value at around 54.98 EUROS.

They had previously declined 29% this year before yesterday’s revival for the publisher, who's also tingly all over now for a film.

The omens tell of delay once again for EA's Warhammer Online

Producer Jeff Hickman has announced this morning that their MMORPG of Warhammer will be pushed back to an autumn release. It was originally slated for a Q1 release this year, which soon changed to Q2 as the studio wanted more time to polish the game.

Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning is for the PC and is being developed by EA Mythic.
