That's right, no need to cringe at the idea that Edward Norton, while a good actor in this journalist's opinion, is playing as the Incredible Hulk in the upcoming movie. Our game news has nothing to do with him, and hopefully his likeness won't be invading our TV screens for anything other than the DVD/Blu-ray release of the movie.

Capcom and Microsoft, BFF after XBLA file size restrictions disappear

You'd be their BFF too if they were that nice to you! Capcom, who's been having a heck of a hard time getting their two big XBLA games rolling because of the 150MB size restrictions just got a big break. Microsoft, the big lug, came over and gave Capcom a big warm hug.

"You don't need to worry anymore," Microsoft said with a smile on his face. "We love you enough to say 'follow your dreams!'" Well, that's what it sounds like until you hear the sudden slap of truth IGN pointed out: "To meet standards, Rearmed would need to shed some of the bonus material that would still appear on the PlayStation Network and PC versions. According to Capcom, SFII could not run in 1080p if not for Microsoft loosening the file size cap."

Ouch. I think I need a sit...and I thought the two were so close. At least we won't have hacked XBLA games...I think that's enough consolation to keep me out of my tear-inducing slump.

It seems like just yesterday we were looking back and saying, "hey, why does the Xbox only have like five good games? The PS2 has so many..." Then again, the PS2 was undoubtedly littered with trash, since developers tend to lend to the murky water of crapware every year in their publishers need to make a few extra bucks.

Tis the way of life, sadly. Works in every form of the entertainment industry, with the possible exception of books, but who the hell reads those things, right?
