Thought Army of Two was a great idea? That's so two weeks ago. Playing with friends isn't the way to do it if you get to wear a super suit, fly around taking down tanks, helicopters, airplanes, aliens, volcano's and black holes (OK, maybe not volcano's).
As if the movie and game trailers didn't get you stoked for it enough already, the official Iron Man website just went live a few minutes ago. It's not completely done, but it might be worth a bookmark to see what downloads they have to offer.
Mike Bowden talked with Fuzzyeyes Studio, developers of the upcoming third-person fantasy game, Edge of Twilight. Due to be released next year for the PC, 360 and PS3, the game has been likened to the Devil May Cry series.

Relic Entertainment and THQ have today announced Dawn of War II, the highly anticipated sequel to the Real-Time Strategy game set in the Warhammer 40,000 universe. Set for release in spring 2009, and powered by an enhanced version of Relic's proprietary Essence Engine 2.0, Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War II will take players to the brutal frontlines of war where they’ll experience intense action and visceral combat through a non-linear single player experience and a fully co-operative multiplayer campaign.
Ubisoft had an unnamed air combat game announced last year but now it can be confirmed as Tom Clancy's HAWX. It will have a single player campaign with support for up to 4 players in co-op mode.
It uses an "Enhanced Reality System", which if switched off will give greater freedom but make the game much harder.

Stardock Boss Brad Wardell has told Wired that it plans to develop an expansion pack for the recently successful release of Sins of a Solar Empire, a space-based strategy for the PC.
This new expansion pack will contain a full campaign mode with new playable factions likely to appear as well.
The Penny Arcade team have launched the beta version of its new digital distribution service called Greenhouse, which will work much like Gamers Gate or Steam as players will be able to purchase independent titles and then download them straight to the PC.
The only title that has currently been announced for Greenhouse is Penny Arcade Adventures - On the Rain-Slick Precipice of Darkness: Episode One which will be sold for $19.95, although no release date has been provided on the website but it should be released fairly soon.
Well, maybe not, but it certainly doesn't seem pleased with the lack of success of Madden 08 on the PC. That's what Peter Moore announced today on his blog.
He goes into why that decision has been made, though I don't think that it really needs explaining. Madden is a console game, although seeing it on the PC isn't a problem...but it is odd.
