Capcom has announced that the PC version of Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition will be delighting fans in Europe July 15th, while the US gets this week.
Additional characters were crammed into the Arcade Edition roster by Capcom, as well as newbies Oni, Evil Ryu, Yun and Yang. Get those combos ready.

In a further development to PlayStation 3 gamers in Europe being outraged at Mortal Kombat's overpriced DLC, Warner Bros. have admitted an error.
Two in fact. First off "some technical issues" have delayed the Skarlet character DLC, and second the prices are actually mistakes and are "being rectified".

This week the PlayStation Store in Europe missed add-on character Skarlet for Mortal Kombat, despite US users getting it. Okay so that's not uncommon.
Sure fans are a little upset they have to wait but the real issue stoking their fury is the difference in price. The Klassic Skin Pack is $4.99 in the US.

Mortal Kombat Season Pass announced

Warner Bros. Interactive has announced the Mortal Kombat Season Pass on Xbox Live Marketplace, which is similar in function to Rockstar's L.A. Noire Rockstar Pass: gamers can choose to pay 1200 Microsoft Points now to get four downloadable fighters as well as all of the "classic skins" for each. Each fighter costs 400 MSP to begin with, so the player is saving 25%.

Senior VP Christian Svensson of Capcom admits they "had it wrong" when planning the DRM for PC Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition and make changes.

Sega recently announced that it would be relaunching an updated version of the side-scrolling brawler known as Guardian Heroes on the XBLA, although now the publisher wants to know if you would be interested in seeing a PSN version too.
Guardian Heroes was an exclusive beat 'em-up title developed by Treasure from the golden days of the Sega Saturn. Sega will give Guardian Heroes a full HD overhaul, online co-op and you'll be able to switch back to the original version at any time.

Publisher THQ has revealed in a trailer their next big WWE instalment and one immediately noticed change is the name. It's simply being called 'WWE 12'.

The PC version of Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition will not only have Live for Windows, but it will feature the same kind of "always on" DRM seen in games like Dragon Age: Origins. This DRM has been implemented not to stop piracy, but cheaters and hacks that have ruined the PC version of Street Fighter IV.

Capcom have pinned the month of July for PC Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition, which "nobody wants to get" on the desktop more than the developers.
