During an E3 2008 press conference, Sony Computer Entertainment announced that Insomniac's Rachet & Clank series will continue for the PlayStation 3 later this summer, as downloadable content priced at $14.99.

Eidos has confirmed that the next instalment of the Tomb Raider series, Underworld, will be hitting UK stores on November 21st.

America will be getting it slightly earlier on the 18th.

EA has announced its lineup for E3:

Electronic Arts today unveiled the games it will feature at the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) at the Los Angeles Convention Center July 15 – 17. Warren Spector has updated his blog and revealed that Junction Point, his studio that is owned by Disney, is working on a fresh new project with Pixar, which could be a movie tie in game, or something completely new.

Ubisoft has revealed today that it will be showing a new action game during E3 2008 called I Am Alive, for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC. Jade Raymond (Assassin's Creed) is working on the project that has been in development for nearly 3 years at Darkworks.

Fans of the God of War series may have a reason to be rather excited about the upcoming Electronics Entertainment Expo (E3), which is slated for mid-July. According to multiple sources, a Sony representative at a recent GDC event held in Paris let this big cat out of the bag:

God of War III for the PlayStation 3 will apparently be shown in some form at the big show in Los Angeles.
