Capcom has issued an update to fans on the upcoming film adaptations of the Onimusha and Clock Tower franchises.
2011 is the year for Onimusha according to their US blog now that everything is getting back on track and Clock Tower could be terrorising screens as early as next year. | |

Business development manager Peter Zetterberg proclaimed the European MGS doesn't cancel games, "we stick with them."
This comes as a sly little dig to Sony Computer Entertainment Europe who axed two internal projects, The Getaway and Eight Days at their London studio. | |

PSU is reporting that an unnamed source confirmed that BioShock for the PlayStation 3 will be released on 4th November, 2008. 2K Games only recently announced the development of the PS3 version in late May, and no official release date was confirmed at the time. | |

Microsoft secured an exclusive first launch in Europe for Rock Band with the other platforms editions releasing "later this summer".
Online retailer Play.com set the speculating drums on fire with a September 26 date for PS3 and PS2. EA deny this is official information whilst symbolically trashing a hotel room. | |

Midway confirmed to Videogaming247 that the Xbox 360 version of Unreal Tournament 3 will be shipped on 4th July in Europe. “We are on track to ship in (Europe) on July 4th,” said a PR rep. This means Europeans will get the Xbox 360 in advanced, as the US version is being released on the 7th July. | |

Jonathan Goddard, EA’s UK PR manager, has unveiled plans to let UK gamers who pre-order with the EA Store to get the full Creature Creator for free.
Selective retailers are in on the deal too, the Creature Creator is available this June 17th with the full Spore game arriving in September. | |

Strauss Zelnick has revealed that T2 has been researching "pretty aggressively" on in-game ads for Sports titles and micro-transaction ideas for other properties.
He wants episodic content to be a profitable model for high quality titles but it must have value to the consumer, so character wigs and novelty horns should work fine. | |
