SSFIV trailer confirms Evil Ryu and Oni Akuma in Arcade Edition

The additions of Evil Ryu and Oni Akuma are official thanks to a newly released trailer, but this confirmation is only for the Japanese Arcade Edition.

The console release of SSFIV may be without or at least for the time being. It's not made clear though if they're playable but it's mostly likely true.

PlayStation Move title The Fight: Lights Out will be getting its first DLC this month, while the first title update is available now through the PlayStation Network.

It addresses several small issues and includes the option to turn your fighter transparent to "get a better view" of your foe. The DLC gives you bosses to play.

Thanks to the Internet once again springing a leak of information we have learnt, providing they're real, that Capcom is adding Evil Ryu to SSFIV.

Also it appears that Yun and Yan are on their way with 'Birth of Oni' sporting a shot of Akuma in its icon. There's been no word from boss Capcom yet.

Kung-Fu Live on PSN December 7th, requires a PlayStation Eye

Capcom has announced that Marvel vs. Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds will be swinging fists in Europe on February 18th, 2012... just kidding it's 2011.

Jill Valentine and Shuma-Gorath have been confirmed as Special Edition bonus characters, but it's US only. Retailer pre-order loot to be revealed "shortly".

The latest two characters added to the Marvel vs. Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds roster is Stan Lee's last Marvel-related comic creation, She-Hulk.

The other is Capcom's Zero of the Mega Man franchise, first appearing in Mega Man X on Super Nintendo in 1993. MvC3 is due out in early 2011.

The broad chested clump of muscle that is Haggar is seen on a developer's monitor, and would suggest we've another Marvel vs. Capcom 3 character.

The latest Mortal Kombat game from Warner Bros. is going to be the first game to target serious hardcore/tournament fighters; the developers are already getting constant feedback from Beat 'em up experts.

In an interview withShack News, series creator Ed Boon said, "This is the first Mortal Kombat game where we are consciously putting in features for the hardcore/tournament fighters and we have some amazing fighting game 'experts' playing our game and giving us constant feedback."

Developer Ace Team hasn't forgotten about a sequel to Zeno Clash but they're busy with Rock of Ages for the moment, and are concentrating on that.

They'll "continue the story" of the weird and intense Zeno Clash but only when they feel that "time is right" for the studio. Ace now uses Unreal Engine 3.

Classic 1992 X-Men arcade game for XBLA and PSN, online co-op

Konami is reviving their 1992 arcade game of X-Men for Xbox Live Arcade and the PlayStation Network, and it will have 6-player online co-op.

During the New York Comic-Con they revealed the drop-in/drop-out feature with a video, and say everything about the title remains, even the "cheese".

Yoshinori Ono is producer of universe cross-over Street Fighter x Tekken, and it won't take 2 years anymore to reach us. They're shaving off time.

Capcom's Keiji Inafune "literally kicked my arse," said Ono-san and so the team will work faster. All brawler franchises are "doing really well."

Much like Capcom released alternate costume packs for Street Fighter IV, an all-new wardrobe will be downloadable in DLC form for SSFIV.

The first to release will be October 26th. These packs will include new designs as well as original costumes from previous games; no pricing yet.

Capcom's Street Fighter series producer Yoshinori Ono has revealed that while the arcade version of SSFIV is 99 percent PC compatible, it won't release.

PC Street Fighter IV was a strong seller globally but it was also "number one in piracy." Ono-san appreciated the love for the series but hard sales matter.

At the Tokyo Game Show publisher Namco Bandai announced a sequel to Tekken Tag Tournament, a PlayStation 2 launch title. It's out 2011.

At least it'll be gracing Japanese arcades in summer of next year, as a western date has yet to be given. TTT2 was going to arrive before Tekken 6.

In the latest issue of the Famitsu magazine, Sony Computer Entertainment Japan reveals a new PlayStation 3 exclusive called Tokyo Jungle, which seems to be about wild animals fighting in the streets of Tokyo.

Tokyo Jungle is set in a futuristic Japan where the human race has been wiped out and the animals have reclaimed the planet. You should be able to play as elephants, chickens, crocodiles, cheetahs, porcupines, lions and more.

We should expect the minimum multiplayer experience says Capcom for the upcoming Marvel vs. Capcom 3, with updates likely after launch.

It should follow Street Fighter IV in that regard. There's a lot of "back-and-forth" in the studio on the online subject; hopefully "fun new directions".

Capcom producer Ryota Niitsuma of Marvel vs Capcom 3: Fate Of Two Worlds says that nothing is finalised until Marvel grants its blessing.

That accounts for everything from character motion, names of moves and even how Capcom "market and promote" the title - demos too.

The upcoming Mortal Kombat game is M-rated so we can see a return to the more 'traditional' than recent T-rated spin-offs. Expect "crazy" again.

The team's goal for violence is to "just surprise, maybe entertain" from the "outrageousness" we can pull off. Finishers are "just funny" to see.

Producer Yoshinori Ono of Capcom revealed at Comic-Con that they've been developing Street Fighter III: Third Strike Online Edition, out in 2011.

It's assumed to be an Xbox Live Arcade and PlayStation Network affair, packed with HD enhancements much like Marvel vs. Capcom 2 was.

Capcom and Namco Bandai are each handling a cross-over involving the others' brawlers; Street Fighter and Tekken. They won't hit till about 2012.

There'll be 'no sharing' between the two as they like to "challenge one-another in all areas," like game sales and who excite the series' fans more.
