A flyer from Capcom for Super Street Fighter IV has Japanese text that says: "Here comes new challengers?!" This appears to hint new additions.

The console release of Capcom arcade's SSFIV already included new blood. A content update could easily pad the roster, so DLC is on the way?

Namco and Capcom both had heavy hitter producers at the Evo 2010 in Las Vegas, and there's huge news coming down the grapevine for fans.

Apparently at Comic-Con we can expect 2 cross-over games to be revealed, each features stars from each universe in their respective engines?

EA's revealed that it will be announcing a bunch of new games tonight.

The company's annual Studio Showcase will be streamed live by GameSpot at 1 PST, which is 9.00pm BST here in the UK.

Rumour has it that it's a Darkstalkers game in the works and Capcom meanwhile has a "big announcement" due in 2 days time. Dun-dun-dun.

Lead designer John Edwards of the new Mortal Kombat, in development at NetherRealm Studios, says they've got "a really robust online" planned.

In fact he goes as far to say it's the "most robust online fighting" system ever, and we should all "look forward to it!" Much DLC is on the drawing board.

The new Mortal Kombat game should feature over 26 fighters, according to a leaked screenshot that has emerged today.

The image also suggests that DLC will be featured in the Mortal Kombat reboot, and could even be available on the day of release. There's a button on the character select screen that clearly says DLC, which we assume will allow you to open up another screen with additional characters that have been downloaded.

Simply dubbed 'Mortal Kombat' it's in development at NetherRealm Studios, helmed by series creator Ed Boon. It introduces tag teaming.

Series director Katsuhiro Harada has said how Tekken 7 is currently in the pre-production stage, whilst at an event in Madrid; nothing else revealed.

The last instalment hit Xbox 360, PS3 and PSP in fall last year. Most likely the next Tekken will touch the arcades first before the game consoles.

The singleplayer arcade title demands the PS3 be connected and online, otherwise there's no play time. The Xbox 360 version is unaffected.

Thanks to the latest issue of Famitsu, we now know that Capcom's upcoming spring release of Super Street Fighter IV has SFIII stars.

Three from III will be appearing in IV; the young karate girl Makoto, the British boxer Dudley and ninja trainee Ibuki. SSFIV hits Xbox 360 and PS3.

Capcom has just announced its Spring line-up launch dates, confirming that Lost Planet 2 will be released worldwide on Tuesday, May 18 for PS3 and Xbox 360.

Super Street Fighter IV is also coming to PS3 and Xbox 360 on April 27.
