Play has issued a press release about its upcoming Play.com live event which is set to take place at Wembley Stadium on March 15th to 16th. The press release announces details about a world exclusive first play of Lego: Indiana Jones, but more importantly it reveals that LEGO Indiana Jones: The Original Adventures will hit retail stores on 6th June. | |

Crytek's "Crysis Weekly Update #6" detailed that their latest patch (v1.2) is in fact ready for distribution but just needs to jump the last hurdle before going live. Apparently these patches from the developer will not only include bugfixes and balancing but will also encompass new features for the game taken from communities' "most wanted list of improvements." Cheat protection is also a high priority they say. | |

The PC version of The Orange Box was announced to be getting the splits by Valve and would reach stores by March, that's changed to April now and there's still no word on the pricing.
The Orange Box includes Half-Life 2 Episode 2, Portal and Team Fortress 2. Great news for those gamers wary of digital distribution and still prefer a good disc in the hand. | |

From the noggin of Activison's Robert Kotick it looks very likely that Blizzard's highly anticipated revival of the classic and cult RTS franchise will be jumping on the advertising bandwagon, with hopes it will be a landmark success for future endeavours of the business model.

An independent developer, Demiurge Studios has been working alongside BioWare since before the Xbox360 launch of Mass Effect. They've been working hard to optimise the game for the PC and both studios were not content with simply porting it over.
A new and better inventory system is a major enhancement over its console counterpart, along with better visuals and a new mini-game. It's unclear though whether the PC version will include the upcoming downloadable content "Bring Down the Sky" available March 10. | |
