Lo Wang is back as Devolver Digital has announced a remake of the classic 1997 3D Realms shooter Shadow Warrior. The game is being developed by Flying Wild Hog, which made the sci-fi shooter Hard Reset.

Gazillion has released the first of four cartoons in a "Chronicles of Doom" series in anticipation for the launch of their free-to-play MMO, Marvel Heroes, on the 4th June. The animated films are written by Marvel writer Brian Michael Bendis.

Rhode Island to sell 38 Studios' Kingdoms of Amalur IP, "interest in the assets"

After the disaster that was the collapse of 38 Studios, the Kingdoms of Amalur franchise was left gagged and bound in some obscure cabinet, but now Rhode Island is preparing to sell it off to those interested.

Apparently there are a number of people sniffing around the IP, which analyst Michael Pachter appraises to be worth around $20 million. Rhode Island was left $130m in debt.

What the heck did I just watch? It gave me tingly feelings I know that much. Good tingly feelings? Perhaps. I'll have to wait 35 days until I can know for sure, but 5Lives Studios is the source of this mystery.

A video has been posted by the totally unheard of studio that teases a Bullfrog Productions bigwig who, back in 1996, helped make a little something for PC. Now they want to 'redefine the genre'...

Total War: Rome II and Company of Heroes 2 playable at Rezzed

Taking place June 22nd and 23rd at The NEC, Birmingham is the next Rezzed event featuring some of the hottest PC and indie games on the show floor. This year Total War: Rome II will be headlining.

It will also be playable, as will Relic's Company of Heroes 2, which both represent the "pinnacle of PC strategy games," said events director David Lilley. Developer Sessions are also scheduled.

Full CGI trailer released for Batman: Arkham Origins

The full CGI rumble between Batman and Deathstroke has been released by Warner Brothers, and it's full of fist punches, broken blades, sniper shots, dockyards and villainous boasting.

They've already revealed that Deathstroke is to be a "fully playable character" in challenge mode if you get the Deathstroke pre-order pack. Batman: Arkham Origins releases October 25th.

Rockstar to reveal "first info soon" on Grand Theft Auto V's multiplayer

In a Rockstar Newswire post talking about the new Crews system they introduced with Max Payne 3, the studio teases in their opening line that "first info" about GTA V online is due out soon for fans to digest.

They say a whole slew of Crews are "rallying, preparing and raring to go" with some interesting emblems. Rockstar has said that Crews would 'carry over' into GTA V.

The latest update to World of Warcraft is this week with Patch 5.3. It tweaks a number of things as well as adding all-new stuff like Heroic Scenarios and a continuation of the legendary quest line.

There are also several new mounts like the Enchanted Fey Dragon. Four new scenarios, a new battleground and a new arena await in 5.3. Pandaria now levels up all mining and herbalism.

Rumour: Capcom prepping Resident Evil 7 for E3?

Capcom may very well be announcing Resident Evil 7 next month at E3 in California if an alleged promotional poster still in the design phase is to be believed. It's best you keep that rumour-mill salt lick nearby.

Again, if the poster is to be believed, then Resi Evil 7 has the tag 'The War Ends Now'. Of course this could all be some 12-year-old on a sugar high playing around with Photoshop.

Denis Dyack "really sorry" over X-Men: Destiny, "did the best we could"

In response to criticisms over the development of X-Men: Destiny, former Silicon Knights boss Denis Dyack has decided to 'clear the air' over certain issues, like allegations of 'diverted funds' away from X-Men.

He sat down with Activision all that time ago and revealed to them how the studio spent $2m more "than what we had been paid," so the studio put its own money into the project.

Tomorrow Call of Duty fans will be getting a serious gameplay reveal for Call of Duty: Ghosts at Microsoft's special next-gen Xbox event. Activision, not content to leave well enough alone, posts a teaser.

It's a mere 6 seconds and flashes through some of tomorrow's showcasing, which apparently will involve some wireframe shots of the next game. Call of Duty: Ghosts is out November 5th.

Deep Silver takes UK chart with Metro: Last Light first, Dead Island: Riptide second

The UK all format chart has been taken over by publisher Deep Silver as Metro: Last Light debuts atop the ladder, followed by Dead Island: Riptide, who has only just been demoted from the chart throne.

EA's FIFA 13 came third, with Nintendo's Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity after that. Injustice: Gods Among Us slips from fourth to eighth. BioShock Infinite is tenth.

American McGee's studio Spicy Horse has revealed what its previous hinted at The Wizard of Oz-inspired game will be: OZombie. Yes, it's the classic Frank L. Baum story, only with zombies, a gun-toting Dorothy, and a robotic killer dog Toto.

It seems Kevin Conroy will be returning to voice The Dark Knight after all, as he announced he would be doing the role for Batman: Arkham Origins at Dallas Comic Con. It had been previously announced he wouldn't be playing the younger version of Batman.

BoxOfficeMojo.com, film supersite, has listed the Assassin's Creed film for the 22nd May 2015. The movie will star Prometheus actor Michael Fassbender as protagonist Altair, and being written by Michael Lesslie, who prior to this project has chiefly done film shorts.
