Disabled videogame advocacy group AbleGamers has given EA Sports' football title FIFA 13 their mainstream Game of the Year. The group admired the game's controls and AI adjustments that made the game accessible to both physically and mentally handicapped gamers.

Looks like World Wrestling Entertainment, aka the WWE, won't be getting the $45M owed to it by publisher THQ, thanks to the loan being unsecured. This was revealed in the bankruptcy filing by THQ.

Konami's PES 2013 will be receiving its next patch this December 20th, announces PES team leader Jon Murphy. Patch 1.03 will improve on the "acceptable" 2v2 mode to make it "even more intuitive".
The update also addresses the "overall balance of the game" with "a few aesthetic improvements here and there," thrown in for good measure. New goal celebrations have been added too.

EA Sports' FIFA 13 continues to experience trouble with its Ultimate Team and so the publisher has "temporarily disabled" the service while they "work to resolve an issue" causing the headaches.
This means Ultimate Team's " online gameplay, trading, store purchasing, the Web App" and mobile app are all "unavailable during this time." Team of the Week is delayed.

2K Sports kill servers for NBA 2K12, College Hoops 2K8 and NHL 2K10

2K Sports seems to have pulled the plug on its old online servers. Users playing All-Pro Football 2K8, NHL 2K10, College Hoops 2K8 and the year-old NBA 2K12 multiplayer have noticed a lack of online support across the last three weeks.

Electronic Arts has announced that a new patch is now available for the PC version of FIFA 13. The major fix in the patch is removing the "invisible ball" glitch in which the soccer ball would inexplicably become invisible during play.

The BBC program Watchdog aired a segment about numerous bugs in FIFA 13 that included crashes, invisible players, balls, the loss of paid content for FIFA Ultimate Team, and that Electronic Arts was ignoring user complaints.

EA Sports has announced that FIFA 13 has sold 7.4 million units in its first month of release. This was revealed during EA's quarterly financial report. Fellow sports game Madden NFL 13 was its second best selling game.

The anti-monopoly class action lawsuit against EA Sports will be moving to the courts, according to court docs which accuse the publisher of “an unlawful and anti-competitive series of exclusive agreements with the National Football League, the NFL Players Union, Arena Football League and the National Collegiate Athletic Association."

EA Sports has warned players of FIFA 13 that their Ultimate Team is being targetted by opportunists looking to "steal your account information." The publisher has posted a security guide for users.
They warn of the usual things like that EA "never ask you for you login", and to be mindful of harmful phishing emails or "copycat websites". Having a decent password is another priority.

Today PES 2013 gets a title update for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC as Konami add a new Widget system for the online portion so it's far easier to keep tabs on friends and kick off some matches.
There's now also the option of conceding an online match at half-time to help alleviate abrupt exits. Konami also offer more free DLC in the form of updated rosters, UEFA stuff and new designs.
