Sins of a Solar Empire: Rebellion will be getting some new downloadable content in the form of "Forbidden Worlds" on the 5th June. The new DLC will add new planet types, planet specialization, technologies, planetary bonuses and achievements for $4.99 USD.

A Collector's Edition has been detailed, with each CE copy being "laser-etched" in Roman numerals. You also get a Tabula set, Tesserae Dice, Total War Cards and more.

Full Control is the Danish developer hoping to excite enough of our wallets to pry a cool $350k out with their Jagged Alliance: Flashback Kickstarter, which is just under $160k with two weeks left.

The studio's CEO has put together a new video hoping to answer some basic questions about what Jagged Alliance is and why they're making Flashback - a 1980's set prequel to the series.

Warner Bros. Interactive has announced that Turbine's DC Comics-licensed MOBA Infinite Crisis has officially begun, and are celebrating by releasing the character profile video for The Joker, who is described as "a homicidal maniac" who "cavorts into fights blasting opponents with explosive dolls and boxing glove-adorned RPGs."

Crusader Kings 2 is going to get "a lot of love" soon for its Pagan leaders as Paradox unveil The Old Gods add-on, which "pulls back the earliest start date" to 867 AD, which is a "huge difference" from 1066 AD.

England for one will have a 'rampaging heathen army' knocking about the place. It's a "huge game changer" to everyone as they add another 200 years. The Old Gods is released May 28th.

Indie developer Radiant Entertainment's blocky city building game Stonehearth has reached its $120K Kickstarter goal with 27 days to spare. The developer has also put the game up on Steam Greenlight for fan approval.

KING Art Games is behind the Kickstarter for Battle Worlds: Kronos, and they believe they've been in more contact with players the last few weeks than in the "ten years before combined." It's humanising 'The Player'.

The studio "certainly hope" that community-driven development is in their future from now on. Battle Worlds: Kronos has been Greenlit on Steam. Overfunding means iOS, Android and Ouya.

Want some more game with your game? Danish developer Full Control has announced they've partnered with Humble Bundle to bring Kickstarter backers the 'Classic Pack' if the campaign succeeds.

The original Jagged Alliance, JA: Deadly Games, JA2 and JA2: Unfinished Business comes as part of the Classic Pack, which is in English and in full support of Windows 7.

Wastelands Interactive's 4X fantasy game Worlds of Magic has just 3 days left to sponge what more pledges it can, but fortunately for backers and the studio it has surpassed its goal by £6,000.

In fact they are about £4k off from meeting their second stretch goal of 20 more creatures to roam the lands. A 7th faction has already been unlocked and will be decided by the community.

The 2.0 patch for SimCity intended to add the "Cheetah" game speed and other features and fixes has had its own bugs, and Electronic Arts has announced some new fixes will be released soon to repair them.

SEGA has revealed that a ninth faction, Pontus, has been worked on by Creative Assembly and will be offered as free content "day one" to PC gamers. This faction remains one of the "strongest Hellenistic states".

The shipped version features the official eight factions, but the studio had some spare time to create Pontus. An official Total War: Rome II release date is expected soon.
