 In an exclusive interview with Strategy Informer, Paradox Interactive Executive Vice President Fredrik Wester confirmed that Majesty 2 - The Fantasy Kingdom Sim would be heading to consoles for the first time since the beginning of the series, although it has only been confirmed for the Xbox 360 at the moment. "Yes, we are currently developing the game on consoles. This is a new experience to us so we can’t go into details yet." said Wester. | |

 Ubisoft announced this morning that it has acquired from Activision Blizzard the assets and all of the personnel of esteemed Malmo, Sweden- based studio Massive Entertainment, as well as the real time strategy brand World In Conflict. Created in 1997, Massive employs over 120 developers and was ranked as one of the top 50 best game studios in the world by Game Developers Research in 2008. The studio is world-renowned for its expertise in the RTS genre and for the quality of its innovative proprietary technologies. | |

 Speculation on a new Command and Conquer Generals title is rife on the Internet after it was revealed that the Command and Conquer: Red Alert 3 Premier Edition contained a beta test key for an unannounced upcoming RTS game from Electronic Arts. The Premier Edition of the game also contains a video of the Battlecast Primetime series that has Mike Verdu, EA General Manager Los Angeles, telling viewers not to be surprised "to see another installment of Generals in the future." Other than this cryptic comment EA has made no official statement regarding the use of the beta key or the future of the C&C Generals franchise. Stay tuned for more news as it breaks. | |
