Or specifically, that 72% played a game. Played a game? Well now, that means 72% of people are just so lucky, aren't they?

No, really, we know that it's anyone who's had an internet connection has played an internet game, whether they know it or not. Then again, if 72% know it, that means over 200 million Americans admit to having played some videogame in one way or another.

It all appears to be kicking off at Sierra, one of the publishing labels of Vivendi Games'. It's all down to unrest in the company that all of its titles will have to be pitched to the head honcho's at Activision (and obviously they don't like that!).

That's 3 weeks a head of the US release. The day after on March 28 will see the Blu-ray version with both carrying a £24.99 tag, unless you choose the PS3 bundle priced at £299 also available on March 28.

Oddly the downloadable version isn't any cheaper than getting it on disc, but at least the EU version carries more content that its Japanese counterpart.

Doctor Who game confirmed
Posted: 04.03.2008 12:04 by Comments: 0
Just confirmed by Videogame247 was a Doctor Who game, coming from Eidos. Eidos spokespeople say that it'll be out for PC, PS2 and DS, meaning it isn't meant to be the biggest best new game in town. So we were right about yesterday.

Just remember that the PS2 and DS are the current reigning champions of consoles, and seeing the game not hitting the PSP as well means that Eidos is really playing it safe with this one. Chances are the game isn't going to be a miracle disc/cartridge, making women scream at the sight of it. But hey, yesterday they said a Dexter game was in the works.

Maybe there'll be good Doctor Who extras. Who knows, pun intended.
