Evolve is Turtle Rock Studios' new co-op shooter where four hunters team up against a single evolving monster who's also controlled by a player. For the first time the studio releases footage of a full match.

Four against one huge monster "really sets Evolve apart" from the others, says Turtle Rock. The full video offers six different viewpoints on the match from each player.

Some detective work has unearthed a Battlefield 4 bug being referred to as 'Death Shield', which is stopping bullets from finishing their journeys. Allegedly this bug has been in for quite some time.

It's linked to the grace period team mates have to revive their fallen comrades where a hit box forms over the fallen soldier to protect them from bullets. Trouble is, it protects others.

Swedish developer Massive Entertainment is developing Tom Clancy's The Division, but last fall they begun looking for other Ubisoft studios to lend them a hand. They turned to North Carolina-based Red Storm.

That was the original studio that brought us Rainbow Six and Ghost Recon, and even employed Tom Clancy. Red Storm is behind The Division's "authentic arsenal" of weapons.

Square Enix to distribute Enemy Front and Lords of the Fallen in Europe

CI Games' modern WW2 first-person shooter and action RPG Lords of the Fallen will be packaged up and shipped out by Square Enix in France, the UK and Ireland.

This is part of an expansion on their partnership in France. Enemy Front is due for release this June while Lords of the Fallen is scheduled later in 2014.

Bethesda has released a new gameplay trailer for Wolfenstein: The New Order and it teases the resistance movement fighting against Colonel Deathshead and the Nazi occupied world. There's 'nowhere to run'.

We get over 2 minutes of gameplay teases in this alternate history of the 1960s, where a red card gets you a bullet to the head. There's plenty of advanced weaponry waiting for us.

Gamers find colossal Battlefield 4 Easter Egg in Naval Strike DLC

It's not just gunfire, stray rockets and armoured dinghies you need to worry about in Battlefield 4's waters. The Naval Strike DLC includes a hulking Easter Egg in the form of the megalodon shark.

This giant prehistoric shark breaches the water and crashes down upon players in the Naval Strike map of Nansha Strike. It can be triggered by 10 players treading water by a buoy.

DOOM beta only for PC and next-gen, Bethesda "working with" Steam on digital

Bethesda has clarified that the DOOM beta access as part of the pre-order promotion for Wolfenstein: The New Order, is only available for PC, Xbox One and PS4. Xbox 360 and PS3 aren't invited to the party.

Should you pre-order Wolfenstein for Xbox 360 or PS3 then you'll still get beta to Xbox One or PS4. Bethesda are also working on beta access for digital pre-orders.

PEGI lists 'Metro: Last Light Complete Edition' for PC

The European ratings body PEGI has entered 'Metro: Last Light Complete Edition' into their database. It's listed as for PC and even says it releases April 1st.

It would seem the original game and all DLC are being packaged. A 'Metro Redux' re-release has been confirmed bringing the original games to Xbox One and PS4.

Ubisoft: The Division's Snowdrop Engine 'five years in the making'

Work on the Snowdrop Engine over at Ubisoft Massive in Sweden began "very early on, like, around five years ago," reveals brand art director Rodrigo Cortes. It was "coupled" with The Division almost immediately.

Massive wanted a AAA game competing with the best but "while having a reasonably-sized studio" work on it, and so Snowdrop was started. It's about 'all the little things' for immersion.

OlliOlli's Roll7 announce 2¼D cover-shooter 'Not A Hero', uses ISO-Slant

2D and 2.5D are great and all but there's a real hunger for 2¼D gaming and OlliOlli creator Roll7 is using the ISO-Slant engine to feed those bellies. Not A Hero is a cover-shooter with "running, gunning and sliding".

It has "absolutely no qualms" in shooting your extremities off the moment you peek out from cover, and it's for PC and next-gen this fall. A playable alpha is on show at Rezzed.

CI Games has released a tactics gameplay trailer for WWII shooter Enemy Front. It highlights the various options open to us as we infiltrate Nazi-occupied territory. We can shoot, snipe or sneak to victory.

We team up with resistance forces opposing the occupation but it's up to us how we cross the battlefield. Levels are open-ended and built using Crytek's CryEngine 3. It's due out June 13th.

3D Realms "denies all allegations" by Gearbox, "retains the right" to Duke Nukem

The legal scuffle between Gearbox Software and 3D Realms has just escalated as the Duke Nukem creator "denies all allegations" made by the Borderlands developer, and make their own accusations instead.

3DR "retains the right to develop" Duke Nukem Survivor, and that the trademark for Duke Nukem was "never assigned to Gearbox," but remains with 3D Realms.

Rumour: Ubisoft has 'restarted' Rainbow Six: Patriots three times

Ubisoft has offered 'no comment' on the rumour that Rainbow Six Patriots has been "redesigned from the ground up three times," according to Superannuation. Ubisoft's Laurent Detoc has said before it "wasn't working".

He said at the time a "very influential" editorial group within the publisher decides if something goes forward or not, and that they're "not going to bring it to you" if it doesn't.

As Wolfenstein: The New Order occupies a parallel universe, why shouldn't its collector's edition? The Bethesda Store exclusive Panzerhund Edition comes with loads of goodies - just not the game itself.

Bethesda provides an interesting reason for this: "you're not stuck waiting for your game to come along with an oversized, expensively shipped box." It sounds like it makes sense...

Developer Turtle Rock set the zombie genre ablaze when they introduced Left 4 Dead, a game that is unforgiving at its co-operative core. With their new sci-fi co-op Evolve they want to take it a step further.

Going off on your own in L4D meant certain doom, but there wasn't any real 'role' for the characters, explains Turtle. With Evolve they've made sure they're unique and not totally helpless.

The very promising Naval Strike add-on for Battlefield 4 showcases its best feature in this new 2 minute 10 second trailer, as we see a tense assault on an aircraft carrier. It's modelled after 2142's Titan mode.

The new Carrier Assault mode pitches two aircraft carriers against one another as each side leads a strike against the other. Premium users get two weeks early access.

According to sources, Ubisoft's Far Cry 4 takes a radical departure from the tropical island setting and instead goes mountain climbing around the Himalayas. It'll have a diverse sandbox to play in.

One new feature apparently includes riding elephants, and the first glimpse of Far Cry 4 is scheduled at Ubisoft's E3 conference this June. Still has outposts to liberate.

A new gameplay sequence of Wolfenstein: The New Order has been teased by Bethesda. It's not got much in the way of action but it does show off the visuals and characters, like crazy Nazi lady.

On a Train to Berlin is the name of the trailer, but also accompanying that is another video interviewing narrative designer Tommy Tordsson Bjork, the man responsible for the train sequence.

Dragon's Teeth introduces two-handed ballistic shield to Battlefield 4

DICE is including a new mechanic with the Dragon's Teeth expansion for Battlefield 4. Senior animator Ryan Duffin has revealed a two-handed ballistic shield will stop those mean bullets in their tracks.

Originally it was to be accompanied by a side-arm, but they opted for a full 'moveable cover' angle instead. It fits in with Battlefield 4's team-orientated tactics, believe DICE.
