Telltale Games has officially announced the retail release of The Walking Dead, which will include all five episodes from the first season of the series, as well as the Collector's Edition. Both will be released on the 4th December 2012 for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

Telltale Games has announced that the four episode of their incredible The Walking Dead episodic adventure game series, Around Every Corner will release Tuesday, October 9th on PlayStation Network in North America for $4.99 USD. The Xbox Live Arcade and PC version will hit a day later on the 10th October.

The Walking Dead developer Telltale Games is all about bite sized gaming experiences these days as the studio releases TV-like seasons for its games. Episodes 'engage over time' avoiding one offs.

Over the past decade a lot of the best storytelling "has been episodic storytelling," like The Sopranos or Game of Thrones. Telltale wanted to capture the "strength in that model" for gaming.

Telltale Games has announced that a disc-based version of The Walking Dead will be available in North America by December 4th, meaning all episodes would have released by then.

European gamers aren't given a time frame just yet but at least fans of the adventure series now know they won't have to wait until Christmas for the final episode of season one.

There'll be more headaches for Lee this week as the next instalment of The Walking Dead shuffles into view. It will release today from Telltale Games for the US PlayStation Network.

There's no word on the other PSN regions yet except that it's "in submission" and Telltale will tell us a tale date when they can. Xbox Live Arcade and PC receive The Long Road Ahead tomorrow.

Namco Bandai Games and game developer Lexis Numerique today announced a worldwide distribution agreement for Red Johnson's Chronicles - One Against All, which will see the puzzle-adventure game launched on the Xbox Live Arcade and PlayStation Network in September.

The new instalment in the Red Johnson series is a puzzle-based investigation game set in a noir universe with dark humor. In the shoes of the detective, players will have to use their brain but also many tools to analyse crime scenes and question witnesses.

There was a long two month delay between Episode 1 and Episode 2 of Telltale Games' smash hit, The Walking Dead, but the developer states that Episode 3, "Long Road Ahead", will be landing in mid-August.

Microsoft is promoting the Kinect Central by giving away Haunt free through the app. The family horror title is one of the better Kinect titles, developed by PaRappa the Rapper developer NanaOn-Sha and SingStar's Zoe Mode.

Episode 2 of Telltale's videogame adaption of The Walking Dead, titled "Starved for Help", will be arriving on Xbox Live Marketplace later tonight. The PC and PlayStation 3 versions of Episode 2 will be hitting this Friday, the 29th June. However, the European PlayStation Network version has not been dated yet.
