Following our string of live updates, we give you Microsoft’s announcement of a new interface coming this Autumn for all 360 users. Dubbed the “new xbox live experience”, this new interface will be modelled along similar lines as the expected PS3 ‘Home’ system. The new interface will include ‘Avatars’ (more realistic looking Mii’s), video and picture sharing, along with a load more community based options. | |
| E3 2008: Fable II is complete, set for release in October | |

During a Fable 2 demonstration at E3 2008, game designer Peter Molyneux confirmed that the RPG is now complete, and will be available at retail in October. Monlyneux also confirmed that Fable 2 will feature an online cooperative multiplayer mode over Xbox Live, accessible at any point during the story mode. A specific date is expected to be revealed soon. | |

During a live demonstration of Fallout 3, director Todd Howard announced that “substantial” Fallout 3 download content will be released exclusively to the Xbox 360 and Games for Windows. Specific information wasn't revealed, but hopefully we'll learn more about the exclusive DLC soon. | |

EA has announced its lineup for E3: Electronic Arts today unveiled the games it will feature at the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) at the Los Angeles Convention Center July 15 – 17. The games -- scheduled to ship on multiple platforms in 2008 and early 2009 – include riveting graphics, deep stories and online, socially connected experiences. Take-Two are to take the massively multiplayer plunge as they sign a publishing deal with City of Heroes/Villains developer Cryptic Studios, on their latest project.
Champions Online is their next superhero MMO that's said to have learnt a lot from their previous spandex suited creation. It's coming to PC and Xbox360, if Microsoft says yes. | |

Lionhead Studios and Microsoft Game Studios today announced that consumers who pre-order a copy of Fable II will be given free access to download the Fable II Pub Games when they are released this August. Available exclusively on Xbox LIVE Arcade, fans can transfer the gold earned in these casino-style mini-games to the world of Fable 2. | |

The official Infinite Undiscovery Japanese site lists Square Enix's Xbox 360 exclusive JRPG as a two disc DVD release. The Spec sheet page lists DVD-ROM 2. This is probably going to be a pretty long game, then. | |

Bioware CEOs Ray Muzyka and Greg Zeschuk have recently expressed an interest in bringing an MMO title to the home console. In an interview with MTV, Muzyka commented on how they "think there's potential for an MMO on a console". | |
