Sega and Gearbox had been named in a class-action lawsuit over having deceived the public with an E3 2012 build and trailers of Aliens: Colonial Marines that turned out to be nothing like the finished product. Sega had even admitted the trailers were misleading.

With the full release of Fuse from Insomniac Games due out May 28th, today we learn that EA and the studio will be launching a demo of the co-op action shooter next week on May 7th for Xbox 360 and PS3.
We get to play as each of the four "elite operatives" in the demo as we switch between them using LEAP at anytime during combat. It also promises "deep RPG-like character progression".

Timegate Studios, which developed the Kohan series, Section 8 and the unfortunate Aliens: Colonial Marines with Gearbox, has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy thanks to the fraud suit filed against it.

Gearbox has confirmed in the wake of a leak yesterday that the fourth and final campaign add-on in Borderlands 2's Season Pass, Tiny Tina, will be coming the 25th June for PC, Xbox 30 and PlayStation 3.

Attorneys are on the march as a lawsuit is launched against SEGA and Gearbox Software for 'unrepresentative trade show demos' regarding Aliens: Colonial Marines, which took place at PAX and E3 2011.
The lawsuit targets game levels, AI behaviour and visual fidelity not present in the final version. Review embargos led to the gamers who pre-ordered 'left in the dark' as to the discrepancies.

Spark Unlimited is in collaboration with Capcom with Lost Planet 3, and that only happened because the "best-known developers" aren't all that interested in pursuing someone else's vision over their own.

Retailer EB Games has confirmed DICE has included the cob-webbed Commander Mode in Battlefield 4, which has a single individual guiding their team's strategy - it's like trying to herd cats, really.

2K Marin has been busy 'evolving' the planned XCOM experience announced way back in 2010. Thanks to Firaxis' XCOM: Enemy Unknown, "the time is right" is explore a new experience in the series.
It seems the XCOM shooter has become a "high-stakes narrative" that's imbued with "core XCOM concepts." It's all rather fuzzy as to what that means, but we can expect to hear more soon.

It's a conspiracy! 2K Games has apparently pulled the website for their announced XCOM shooter, which has already been plunged into uncertainty more times than a probe into someone's [REDACTED].
The official site now returns a 404 error, and the marketing trailers via 2K's YouTube channel have been reclassified as 'private' so they can't be viewed. A G-Man cover-up!
