Bethesda's Pete Hines revealed to Eurogamer that there will not be a demo released for Fallout 3, because it doesn't want to slice out a portion of the world, declaring that there is no way of having the world split.

The open beta will begin on May 1st at 3 pm (GMT) but only those who’ve signup up with FilePlanet will get the chance to taste the highly anticipated MMO.

The whole game won't be available to beta testers, there's a cap at level 13 and a majority of locales are off limits. It's purely "final stress testing" says Gaute Godager.

Bethesda's previous big RPG outing was Oblivion which saw its own DLC, so many have speculated that the highly anticipated return of post-apoco Fallout would surely get a look-in.

While not a solemn pledge, Bethesda's Pete Hines says "certainly it's a given that we'll look into it."

Pirates of the Burning Sea hasn't been available for too long, 3 months to be exact, but Flying Lab are already planning to downsize the amount of servers available to four from the eleven public servers that were available. This move is being made to consolidate the POTBS fanbase, so in other words there aren't as many subscribers as the developers originally expected.

According to a chat transcript included with the torrent file that has become available, an individual attempted to contact a CCP rep regarding this breach.

From other MMO forums the publisher seems quick to censor and even ban members from discussing these developments.
