The "bleak future" run by organised crime in Gemini Rue is out on PC February 24th, announces Wadjet Eye Games. It's a retro sci-fi adventure.

This point 'n' click tale involves two characters, an ex-assassin and an amnesia patient, as they go ruffle some galactic feathers. It won an Indie award.

The upcoming Jurassic Park Adventures from Telltale Games is 'inspired' by Quantic Dreams' Heavy Rain for character development and sporadic action.

Universal didn't want 'another shooter' for Jurassic and Telltale are keeping it 'slow-paced', but it will likely feature "tense portions" with quick-time events.

Five episodes of Strong Bad's Cool Game for Attractive People will be available on the PlayStation Network this December 21st in North America.

The episodic adventure series will then release "shortly thereafter" for the EU PlayStation Store and Mac. The game is based off Homestar Runner.

Disney Interactive Studios and TT Games today announced that it's developing LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean: The Video Game on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC.

The video games will be released simultaneously with the new film "Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides" in May 2011.

Swedish developer Fractional Games offers fans an update to their situation one month after their first-person survival horror Amnesia went on sale.

They managed to sell 36k units, needing 24k to be able to keep operating. 41.7% of sales were pre-orders. Critic scores influence was "pretty much none".

Veteran game designer Hideo Kojima likes far-out plans for his projects and one such 'out of orbit' idea was to have Snatcher gamers smell blood.

The game's floppy disk would have been coated in paint and then when it got hot it would "release the smell" of the crime. Everyone shunned the idea.

The first 3 episodes have had over 1.6m downloads. The final series 1 episode is later this year. Feedback has been "overwhelmingly positive".

EA has confirmed that American McGee is working on a new title called Alice: Madness Returns. Spicy Horse Games are developing the dark and deranged sequel to American McGee's Alice, but this time it won't be exclusive to the PC as it's in development for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC.

Designed with the same dark style of the original, but with new visuals, story and game design, Alice: Madness Returns follows Alice on a journey through a wildly corrupted and shattered Wonderland to uncover the truth behind her haunted past and tortured psyche.

Europeans rejoice! The free-to-play version of Dungeons and Dragons Online, dubbed Dungeons and Dragons: Unlimited is making its way across the Atlantic.

So far, the MMO has been exclusive to North America. Eurogamer are reporting that Turbine, the guys behind Lord of the Rings Online (which, coincidently, is also going free-to-play) is taking over the operation from Codemasters.
