Three maps will be in this 'Legendary' pack and will include Ghost Town, Avalanche and a third waiting in the wings.
Bungie.net has released a Q&A on the freshly-announced Avalanche map with designers Niles Sankey and Lars Bakken plus artists Mike Buelterman and Jason Sussman weighing in their mighty Bungie brain power. | |

Photographer Paul Ferradas has said a photo he took of a model has ended up being used without consent from him or the model.
Apparently an ex-boyfriend of the model was playing Juiced 2 and recognised her in the "loading - please wait" images of the game. No comment from THQ at the moment, which may be scrambling to investigate themselves. | |

Microsoft has rewarded DTP Entertainment with the status of 3rd party publisher for the Xbox 360, which means it'll now be able to develop and publish games for the Xbox 360. | |

Alienware announced this morning that the Area-51 7500 has received a full overhaul and will be re-launched as the Area-51 Desktop. The new system now features the Nvidia nForce 790i Ultra SLI based motherboard as well as an Nvidia GeForce 9800 GX2 Dual GPU single graphics card. | |

It's not that we didn't expect an increase in Xbox 360 consoles sold after the price drop, because we did. But a 35-40% increase is...unprecedented. That is, to the inexperienced eye. It does sound great for Microsoft, does it not? But 35-40% from how many? How many consoles went out from retailers hands after the price drop? If it's only been a few thousand, then we're talking about a couple hundred extra. | |

Thought the move to Steam would make a big change to Atari's business? Not according to them. That doesn't mean they don't like it, as UK Managing Director Jeremy Wigmore said, “The online business will be very exciting". He goes on to remind us that Atari is a publisher, saying, “But what we can’t forget is the distribution strength we have around the world – and the boxed game reputation we enjoy as a publisher." | |

Those scurvy developers over at Flying Lab Software today are moving their latest build from the test-bed to live servers. It contains numerous tweaks and fixes for the game with a full release of notes on their forums.
The North American and European fix for user content problems has already deployed, Australians will have to wait for this build to finish before getting their share of patched booty. | |

Sure Diablo III is one of the most mythical rumours going for the games industry, but recent job list postings on the Blizzard website may add credence to the wild ravings of fans.
The ad listing says they're looking for new level designers that would work with "the team behind Diablo I and II." | |
