Black Lion Studios have released 9 screens of their futuristic tactical shooter Shadow Harvest, set around present and future conflicts across the world.
It’s in development currently for the PC, supporting DirectX10, and Xbox360 with an expected first quarter 2009 release for both. | |

From Ubisoft and Project Soul are 19 new screenshots for their fantasy weapons-based action title, Soul Calibur IV. Recently announced to have been infused with the Light and Dark side of the Force with Master Yoda and Darth Vader as special guest stars, this latest entry is due for a quarter three release this year on next-gen consoles. | |

Electronic Arts has announced via its financial conference call that its amazing Skate game has outsold Tony Hawk's Proving Ground by “2 to 1”. EA CFO Warren Jensen said: “Despite the fact we launched on three fewer platforms," said CFO Warren Jensen, "Skate outsold Tony Hawk 2 to 1." | |

CEO of Electronics Arts John Riccitiello admits that the company is still experiencing problems when it comes to PlayStation 3 software development, although the story is different when the PS3 is the lead format for a title. Riccitiello revealed the company's headaches during the recent financial conference call by stating that engineering work still needs to be done for the format. | |

Nintendo has released one new title to the Wii Virtual Console this week and the said game is Adventures of Lolo 2. This puzzle game picks up where adventures of Lolo left off. After rescuing Lala from her captor, Lolo is presented with a new challenge when the terrifying Great Devil kidnaps Lala again, daring Lolo to climb his tower and battle him for her freedom. | |

EA's quarterly earning conference call has also confirmed that Mercenaries 2: World of Flames and Battlefield: Bad company have both received delays and will be released in April. We reported late last week that an announcement for the release date of Mercenaries 2: World of Flames would be coming sometime this week after two retailers listed the game as a 25th August 2008 release. | |

During a third-quarter conference call by Electronic Arts, CEO john Riccitiello confirmed that a Wii version of Rock band is currently in development. That's all we know right now. Details on the instruments that will be available haven't come through yet or an official release date but hopefully EA will provide us with more details soon. | |

Koch Media announced today the conclusion of a publishing agreement with GSC Game World that sees it gain worldwide publishing rights for S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Clear Sky. "The unique atmosphere of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. caused a sensation among gamers, while the sales have demonstrated the brand's enormous potential. We are delighted with this chance to publish the prequel together with GSC under the Deep Silver label," said Craig McNicol, Managing Director of Koch Media. | |

If you've got a gold account on Xbox Live and you've found that you can't download the new Beautiful Katamari demo that was released yesterday, then Microsoft apologies to you. The demo is only currently available to Xbox LIVE Silver members but the problem is being worked on. Microsoft's European community Manager Graeme Boyd asked Gold members to “hold tight” as they try to fix the issues. | |

Sony revealed this morning that they are now making a profit from its games division via a recent report that shows the companies financial quarter. It also cut the sales forecast for the PlayStation from 11 million to 9.5 million units by the end of March. But, it's good news for the PSP because sale forecasts have increased from 10 million to 13 million units. | |
