The Kickstarter for Dex, the 2D cyberpunk RPG from Dreadlocks, is still underway with 23 days left to raise the remaining half of its goal at just £14,000. Just over 560 backers so far have pledged beyond half way.
The studio has released a current map of the game's Harbor Prime, and explained more about Dex's "semi-open world" and the exploration that entails from its 'relatively safe' hub.
The Free City of Berlin-based expansion for Shadowrun Returns will be releasing in January, announces developer Harebrained Schemes. It will be given freely to all who backed the Kickstarter campaign.
Otherwise it will cost $14.99 or $24.99 if you buy it bundled with the original game. Dragonfall includes a "full-length" campaign with new weapons, music, enemies and editor features.

The Kickstarter for Perihelion Interactive's The Mandate just got more interesting as actor David Bradley (Doctor Who, Harry Potter, Game of Thrones) has revealed as the voice talent of Lord High Admiral Suvarov.

New York-based Studio MONO has pulled the plug on their Kickstarter campaign for tactical co-operative RPG InSomnia, which would have run until December 26th for a total of 50 days. They asked for $70,000.
The studio would to make it clear that "this isn't the end of InSomnia," but rather a regrouping to return to Kickstarter "again in a few months stronger and wiser." InSomnia not an MMORPG.

Indie developer AtomicTorch Studio has announced a new sci-fi action RPG, VoidExpanse, which the studio boasts will feature "open-galaxy gameplay, fluid character customization, a huge single-player campaign and robust multiplayer." The game is due to be released in early 2014.
