Overkill Software has released the first full trailer for their co-op bank heist first person shooter Payday 2, which will be released on PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on the 15th August 2013.

The next Call of Duty is subtitled Ghosts and is now available to pre-purchase on Steam, for a hefty £44.99 / $59.99. The product listing has been updated and it confirms "user-initiated events" in multiplayer.

They also mention floods and earthquakes that can "fundamentally alter the flow and strategy" of matches. Activision also teases an exclusive weapon camo pre-order from Gamestop.

Flying Wild Hog is developing a reboot of the original 3D Realms 1997 first-person shooter Shadow Warrior, and has announced on the studio's Twitter feed that it would be giving the original game away later this year as a promotion for the reboot.

Red Orchestra 2: Rising Storm launches on 30th May

Tripwire Interactive has announced today that Red Orchestra 2: Rising Storm will launch exclusively for the PC on 30th May via Steam.

If you pre-order today you'll receive a 15% discount, but you'll have to be quick because the discount won't be valid once the game launches tomorrow.

DICE LA working with Stockholm on Battlefield 4, gameplay footage teased

In a video interview, DICE LA studio manager Fredrik Loving has revealed they're working with DICE's primary studio back in Stockholm on Battlefield 4. He also touches on the Star Wars licensing deal.

Sadly he doesn't spill anything about what EA might be up to with the IP. DICE LA does appear to be on a recruitment craze for Star Wars, with hints of social and mobile plans for it.

A user on Evil Avatar claims that a new banner advertisement for Battlefield 4 states that the shooter will feature new customization options for multiplayer allowing players to generate unique faces, as well as include female models. The alleged ad also claims to have a new "injuries and suppression system."

Bungie remains coy about a PC version of their massively multiplayer shooter Destiny, which is being released on the Xbox One and PlayStation 4, as well as current-gen consoles. The studio states its platform agnostic, and hints it would release a PC version so long as it doesn't compromise the "core experience".

Actvision had Bungie have released a new live-action trailer for Destiny, directed by Jon Favreau (Iron Man, Cowboys & Aliens) and starring Giancarlo Esposito (Revolution television series). The 60 second ad revolves around the mythology of the Destiny-verse.

Deep Silver has unveiled plans for a Season Pass for 4A Games' Metro: Last Light. Included in the package of upcoming DLC are additions to the storyline, as well as "interesting tools" for fans to explore the game.

The packs will be releasing over the coming summer, with the Faction and Chronicles Packs adding new and original gameplay. There's also a solo challenge for veterans.

Activision has unveiled the new story trailer for Call of Duty: Ghosts which debuted at Microsoft's Xbox One reveal event. Developer Infinity Ward showed off the impressive tech that would be going into the PC and next-gen console of the trailer, as well as a Fable-like companion dog.

Lo Wang is back as Devolver Digital has announced a remake of the classic 1997 3D Realms shooter Shadow Warrior. The game is being developed by Flying Wild Hog, which made the sci-fi shooter Hard Reset.

Tomorrow Call of Duty fans will be getting a serious gameplay reveal for Call of Duty: Ghosts at Microsoft's special next-gen Xbox event. Activision, not content to leave well enough alone, posts a teaser.

It's a mere 6 seconds and flashes through some of tomorrow's showcasing, which apparently will involve some wireframe shots of the next game. Call of Duty: Ghosts is out November 5th.
