According to her new character bio page on the Inquisition website, she's now an agent of the church with not one but two new titles - "Sister Nightingale" and "the Left Hand of the Divine".

Funcom's conspiracy-packed fantasy MMORPG The Secret World is celebrating its second anniversary today, and the developer has kicked off a new event to mark the occasion.

The Guardians of Gaia event sees a bunch of massive Golems invade every area in the game. How inconvenient. There's also a new world boss to take on in Tokyo. On addition, there's an all new mission pack, also set in Tokyo, titled Sidestories: Love & Loathing.

Why Fox News, that logo you used during an interview with Texas Governer Rick Perry regarding immigration looks rather familiar... one might even say it looks almost exactly like the one from Bioshock Infinite.

And the fact you're using it during a discussion about immigrants is rather ironic too, considering the prominent themes of racism, blind patriotism and class struggle found in Infinite.

Mortal Kombat is a series often accused of gross and unnecessary violence. Judging by this new leaked gameplay video, which contains gross and unnecessary violence, Mortal Kombat X will be no different.

It features series regular Scorpion blowing a hole in Sub-Zero's chest, then slicing his face off so that his brain slowly slides out of his skull like a big pink sponge. Lovely.

Dovetail Games, best known for the best-selling Train Simulator franchise, has announced a new fishing title - the imaginatively named Dovetail Games Fishing.

Interestingly it's built using the Unreal Engine 4, so expect those trout, salmon and... all the other fish to look good enough to eat. Or catch, take a picture with and throw back in the river.

After heavy criticism, the International e-Sports Federation (IeSF) is reversing its stance on gender division within its eSports competitions. Common sense prevails.

While previously male-only events will now be open to women as a new 'Open For All' category, the organisation will retain the women-only division. The IeSF says this is in order to "(provide) female gamers with ample opportunities to compete in e-Sports—currently a male-dominated industry".

According to EA's COO Peter Moore there is a core section of gamers that "doesn't quite feel comfortable" with the rapid growth of the games industry. We think he might be annoyed that people hate free-to-play Dungeon Keeper Mobile crap.

Speaking to Gamesindustry.biz, Moore said "I think we're going into almost a golden age of gaming, where it doesn't matter where you are, at any time, any place, any price point, any amount of time, there's a game available to you. And our job as a company is to provide those game experiences. And then on our big franchises, tie them all together."
