Electronic Arts has released a new live action television commercial for Need for Speed: Most Wanted, in which a Mexican standoff between hot rod cars and sports police cars is interrupted by a wild yellow Ford Focus with an affiinity for the Sugerhill Gang.

Turn 10 Studios has announced that the first major downloadable content for Forza Horizon will be arriving on the 18th December, called the "Rally Expansion Pack". The DLC, which would normally cost 1600 Microsoft Points on its own, will be a part of the Forza Horizon Season Pass.

The latest gameplay feature trailer from Criterion for Need for Speed: Most Wanted explores the online portion of the open world racer. It's all about friends; friends you want to slam into walls.

The demo for Turn 10's Forza Horizon, a spin-off of the main series, is now available to the tune of 1.6GB to download. Of course that's only if you're a paying Gold Live subscriber, otherwise it's not yet.
In the demo you get a taste of Colorado with a number of different cars across events, like a good old fashioned street race. Play the demo and earn the 2013 SRT Viper GTS.

Publisher Codemasters today celebrates the release of F1 2012 in Europe as it hits Xbox 360, PS3 and PC. It features twelve teams and twenty-four drivers competing in the 2012 season.
This entry also features a 'Young Driver Test' mode which acts as a tutorial to let newbies get used to handling Formula One cars, as well as the new Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas.

VP Alex Ward of Criterion Games calls his studio's Burnout Paradise a "revolutionary game nobody understood," and that Need for Speed: Most Wanted is an evolution of that approach.

Producer Matt Webster from Criterion Games has dished some dirt on their upcoming Need for Speed: Most Wanted efforts. There's no story mode much like in Burnout Paradise.
It's all about the sandbox and the fun that entails. There'll be no playing as the cops either, with Webster pointing you to Hot Pursuit for that. Around "two or three times" more road than Paradise.

A teaser trailer for racing series GRID has gone up from Codemasters which promises a reveal will be forthcoming this August 8th. The number '2' features at the end of the clip.
It was reported as rumour by OXM UK that Codemasters' GRID team was "actively working on GRID 2" and that it's bound for sometime after F1 2012 releases, which is in September.

SEGA is including a bonus track that will feature all standard race modes as well as a starring Sonic's "popular rival" Metal Sonic as a playable character. There's also an Emoticon Sticker Pack.

Criterion's Need for Speed: Most Wanted will utilise Kinect on Xbox 360 according to a new piece of official artwork which carries the 'Better with Kinect' banner atop it's Xbox 360 box art.
The new design is shown briefly in the latest EA trailer for Most Wanted. It's unclear how Kinect will play a role but Burnout Paradise used webcams for taking player photos for their licenses.
