In an interview with Kotaku, Microsoft's Director of Product Management Aaron Greenberg said that the Xbox 360 has gained enough ground to cause a lead over PlayStation 3 third-party support, suggesting that companies will no longer feel the need to support the PlayStation.
"I think what we'll see is, as a result of how 2008 shaped up - the fact that we had our biggest year in history and we're now expanding our lead over the PS3 in a global basis - we went into 2008 with a solid lead over PS3 in North America, but Europe was a much closer race. Now, we're really expanding our lead there," he said. "We've become, by far, the lead global platform for third parties. I think you'll see us getting some benefits from that."

Midnight Club: LA DLC wasn't meant to be

Community Manager, Xbox EMEA Graeme Boyd has revealed that the Midnight Club: LA DLC which slipped onto the Xbox Live Marketplace today was not meant to be available, and has since been removed.
"The Marketplace team has mentioned to me that a batch of Midnight Club: LA content went up accidentally on Xbox LIVE Marketplace this morning. It has since been removed, but you may have had the chance to download it while it was up there. If you did and if it's sitting on your hard drive you should delete it - reason being that it was being tested when it was mistakenly put live and therefore it may not work properly, the Achievements won't register and could cause you problems with your Midnight Club: LA game saves," said Boyd.

"I can't commit to when that will happen, but that is something we want to do. It's definitely something we're looking at expanding and, as this social network grows, we've absolutely heard the pleas for that. It's on the list." said Greenberg.
