Eidos Interactive announced Monster Lab this morning, a brand new RPG action game in development for the Nintendo Wii and DS. MONSTER LAB is set in the eerie world of Uncanny Valley where the evil Baron Mharti rules with a cruel hand. The player takes on the role of an apprentice scientist who must perform a vast array of intricate experiments to create their very own monster from over 100 million possible monster part variations on offer. Taking control of your monster, the player can then explore the land; searching for ingredients to make more monster parts, hunting out other monsters to defeat in combat, uncovering quests to embark upon or simply competing in the numerous mini-games available. | |

The US retail store GameStop has suggested in its weekly update email that Silicon Knights long awaited third-person action title, Too Human, is set to be released on May 6th 2008. We've been awaiting for information on Too Human for sometime and were promised that a release date along with additional information would be revealed soon. It's likely that this release date from GameStop isn't correct but hopefully we'll find out more soon. | |

Codemasters Online announced today that their next generation MMORPG set for release in 2008 will be Jumpgate, a space-based MMO in development by NetDevil. It'll feature action style gameplay not seen in any other online game according to Codemasters. ‘We are very pleased to be working with NetDevil to release this exciting project across North America & Europe. Jumpgate brings something new and fresh to the online persistent space,” commented David Solari, Vice President, Codemasters Online. “The all-action approach and thrilling, twitch-based space combat really sets it apart from other MMOs in the market and we are very much looking forward to releasing this space epic in late 2008.” | |

Ubisoft has revealed via its release schedule that Assassin's Creed will be available in retail stores on March 28th 2008 for both the PC and DS, giving them both a month's delay. They've also decided to release Dark Messiah of Might and Magic: Elements for the Xbox 360 a week later which gives it a release date of February 15th. | |

EA confirmed this morning that they'll be canceling the recent Marvel deal which saw the company planning an action-fighting game, likely to be released on multiple platforms such as the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Wii and PC. Funcom are currently developing a new MMO title for the PC and Xbox 360. Its been sometime since we last heard anything about this game, some people believed that it may have been canceled, but we now have new information thanks to the PC Zone magazine. The developer told PC Zone that the Japanese Horror film, The Ring is a major inspiration to the game. | |

Manny Brown was sent a copy of Kingdom Under Fire: Circle of Doom for the Xbox 360 to review, but he didn't seem to enjoy the singleplayer aspects, and felt that the co-op mode wasn't enough to brighten up this action-RPG from Micrsoft and Blueside.
