Mortal Kombat Arcade Kollection announced
Warner Brothers Interactive has announced that the Mortal Kombat Arcade Kollection is coming to PC, Xbox Live Arcade and PlayStation Network this Summer. It will include adaptations of the first three arcade games, Mortal Kombat, Mortal Kombat II and Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3.

During an 'Ask Capcom' session a fan of 1997's Rival Schools put it to the group if the publisher will ever be resurrecting the age old fighting franchise.
It got a PSOne update in Japan that included a life simulator alongside the action. Frankly even Capcom "never know what franchises" will make a return.

For 8 years Bombergames has been working on a Streets of Rage remake full of remastered content and all-new challenges. SEGA however was less than pleased.
They asked the community of dedicated fans to pull their work, which was freeware. They did this in order to "protect our intellectual property rights", said the publisher.

The Arcade Edition of Street Fighter IV will bring the series to a close, Capcom fighting game guru Seth Killian announced. According to Killian, "The plan is this is the end of Street Fighter IV. Arcade Edition will be the end of Street Fighter IV. What comes next? We'll see. But we aren't planning any more Street Fighter IVs."

Bomber Games has spent 8 years remaking the original Streets of Rage with over 100 new and remastered game stages, 19 characters, 64 enemies and more.
All of this released last week and entirely for free to fans of the series. Unfortunately SEGA has taken exception to this project and requested it be pulled down.

Looks like Super Street Fighter IV will be arriving on PC, just as Street Fighter IV did two years ago. The PC version of SF4 is generally considered the best version of the game.

An all-new Mortal Kombat film? No, but fans can at least enjoy a 10-episode web series from director Kevin Tancharoen, the man behind the 8-minute short.
Tancharoen tried to fire up Warner Bros. with a MK short film. Actor Michael Jai White who played Jax in that short pitch will reprise his role in the web series.

Developer Ace Team hasn't forgotten about a sequel to Zeno Clash but they're busy with Rock of Ages for the moment, and are concentrating on that.

Capcom's Street Fighter series producer Yoshinori Ono has revealed that while the arcade version of SSFIV is 99 percent PC compatible, it won't release.
PC Street Fighter IV was a strong seller globally but it was also "number one in piracy." Ono-san appreciated the love for the series but hard sales matter.

Producer Yoshinori Ono of Capcom revealed at Comic-Con that they've been developing Street Fighter III: Third Strike Online Edition, out in 2011.
