SouthPeak Interactive has announced today that a delay for Stronghold 3 has been put in place to move the release date back to this summer. The publisher assures us that this delay was made to ensure that Stronghold 3 includes a host of great new features.
"We want to make sure fans get the game they want and deserve," said Stronghold 3's designer Simon Bradbury. "Although some may be disappointed the game isn't coming out as soon as they expected, we’re sure they won’t be disappointed with the new elements we’re adding to the franchise, to make this the best Stronghold yet."

Coffee Stain Studios signs Unreal Engine 3 licensing agreement

Coffee Stain Studios, a Swedish developer, has announced that they have signed a five year licensing agreement with Epic Games to use Unreal Engine 3 for their current and upcoming projects, which includes Sanctum, a former Unreal Tournament 3 mod that has been reworked into a full, independent game.

THQ has announced that it will be releasing some new content for Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War II – Retribution on 6th April.

Brad Wardell, big boss at Stardock, announced during GDC this week that early owners of Elemental: War of Magic get its sequel entirely free of charge.

A new Civilization V patch has landed; this one is version 1.0.1.217. As has been the case with other Civilization V patches, the fix list is obscenely long.
Most of the patch is concerned with gameplay balance tweaking, but if you've been having issues with load times, memory leaks and crashes to Windows, you're in luck - this patch addresses those as well.
