Adam Syndrome delayed, coming Q3 2009

Dark Motif has told Strategy Informer that it has decided to postponed Adam Syndrome to Q3 2009, as the team has plans to turn development from a modest budget title, to a full scale project. This means the game design will be enhanced, special effects added and more advanced features will be implemented.

Venezuela, that oil rich southern American one, is the setting for Pandemic's Mercenaries 2 much to the ire of one Hugo Chavez.

EA has laughed off accusations that it's some psychological or propaganda device preparing the West for an invasion of the country; "you have to remind yourself it's a damned video game."

Cliff Bleszinski: Gears of War 2 "not going to do" PC, console only

While the first game did eventually make its way to keyboard and mouse, Bleszinski seems quite adamant that GoW2 won't follow.

He says that Gears of War is "first and foremost" a great franchise for Xbox 360 and that's why they're not going to bother with a port "this time around," pity.

The upcoming expansion to Stalker has had its requirements radiate onto the World Wide Web thanks to the guys over at PC Games Hardware.

The game will support the pipsqueak puter through to your mid-range gaming rigs and right up to the leviathan machines out there. DirectX 10 is supported.

Crytek's Harald Seeley speaks with Edge-Online and says the "PC platform was more inviting" in the beginning, mainly as they didn't have the capitol for consoles.

The winds of change are blowing though as the Germany-based studio will be embracing console development too, partly to help fight off piracy.

Just when TV couldn't get any more awesome, LEGO Batman enters the field. The cartoon show will be based on the actual games engine from TT.

The production will be handled by "a separate studio in the States," according to producer Rich Earl. Traveller's Tales is a UK developer studio with Hollywood ties.

Once the expansion launches it will become easier to attain the dizzy heights of level 70 on World of Warcraft, something lead designer Chilton feels is necessary.

He explains that Blizzard doesn't want the game to become "more intimidating for new players to take on." It benefits current players too of course.

The studio is looking for a temporary artist to "extend and expand" the front end of the game. A diploma in pixel tinkering required they say.

This could be for an upcoming expansion in the CoH universe or perhaps they want to sprinkle some new UI flavour in a patch sometime in the near future.
