Hannah Montana music tours planned for DS, Wii and PS2

Disney is enjoying huge success with their original television series Hannah Montana with over 23 million homes in Europe tuning in. They've decided to bring the young pop star to three platforms; each innovative music-inspired title will let fans interactive with their favourite characters.

Hannah Montana: Music Jam for Nintendo DS and Hannah Montana: Spotlight World Tour will be arriving this spring in April on the 25th. The PS2 version of Spotlight World Tour will arrive much later during autumn this year.

Activision reveal Call of Duty 5 poised to invade early 2009

Now having been officially announced by Activision, Call of Duty 5 will be hitting the PC and the next-gen consoles, Xbox360 & PS3, but there are also plans for PS2, DS and Wii versions.

In development by Treyarch studios, this latest title in the series will not be seeing any more gritty modern warfare but revisiting the franchises roots back in World War II. Activision plan a release sometime before the end of March 31st, 2009.

Lighthouse Interactive acquires rights to publish PSP/PS2 games

Lighthouse Interactive announced this morning that it has acquired full publishing rights for the PlayStation 2 and PSP platforms in North American through a signed agreement with Sony Computer Entertainment America.

Before the "Guns of the Patriots" is released worldwide, fans of this incredible series can now get their hands on three great Metal Gear titles in one commemorative box.

This tactical espionage package includes the original Metal Gear Solid released on Playstation in 1999, and both the director's cut for Metal Gear Solid 2 and Metal Gear Solid 3. As an added treat there'll be artwork included from the renowned Metal Gear Solid artist Yoji Shinkawa.

THQ explains cancellation of Frontlines and other franchises

THQ recently revealed that the planned PlayStation 3 release of Frontlines: Fuel of War was canceled, but more details have now been released based on this during a recent conference call for investors following the companies third quarter fiscal results.

CEO Brian Farrell revealed that the cause for the PlayStation 3 cancellation of Frontlines was Epic's Unreal Engine 3, saying that it “just didn't perform as well in the open world as we would have expected".

Cid The Dummy will bring us into the crazy world of crash impact dummies where CID must save the daughter of his creator, M.I.A., which happens to be a state-of-the-art impact dummy imbued with his daughters essence - how cliché.
