Developer Rare has accused both fate and destiny for screwing over chances of a GoldenEye revival, and says that an agreement with Nintendo is "long past".

Being British they can't help but keep a stiff upper lip, and say there's still a chance for it someday. "Stranger things have happened" believes Rare. Microsoft ended rumour last year.

To celebrate the launch of WET on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, Strategy Informer has teamed up with Bethesda to offer its forum users the chance of winning a copy of WET on Xbox 360 and PS3. There will be a chance for six winners, with three copies of each platform being available.

Developer CD Projekt RED has put together a documentary video for The Witcher 2, but it's for "internal use only" it says, and clearly shows what we can expect with the sequel.

John Smedley of Sony Online Entertainment, the big boss, revealed that the 5 million user strong Free Realms will hit the PlayStation 3 "next year sometime," likely mid-2010.

The PlayStation Eye is "going to be something" Free Realms will "very likely" support. The free-to-play and micro-transaction MMO is hot, so hot it's getting a Star Wars clone.

Sony have announced that come September 24th, which is when the Tokyo Game Show kicks off, PS3 gamers can grab a Lost Planet 2 demo complete with co-op play.

It will include "two additional missions" that is an "exclusive experience" to the PSN treat. Capcom will also be releasing the newest trailer for the game the same day, Sept. 24th.

Philippe Dauman, Viacom's CEO, has said during a recent Goldman Sachs conference call that The Beatles: Rock Band sales have blown past "internal expectations" they had.

It's "been terrific," and they shifted 25 percent of their inventory the first week. The music game delivers "in all respects" and Viacom expect it to continue performing. Bigger than Jesus?
