Looks like we'll be getting some juicy Fallout: New Vegas info after all as OXM confirms, as does their latest mag, that the next issue has it.

Issue 57 has the goods, or will do when it goes on sale. Right now we'll have to make do with the teaser in issue 56, promising "first details".

Some more alleged details have emerged for Treyarch's winter Call of Duty entry, the one set in Vietnam. It'll flesh out your squad a lot with story.

It will also, according to "reliable sources", feature heavy influences from movies like 'Platoon', 'Apocalypse Now' and 'Full Metal Jacket'.

Oops. A North American server for NCsoft's Aion, Azphel to be precise, accidentally gave out over 34 trillion in-game currency to some players.

Naturally the economy went nuclear and NCsoft was forced to do something horrible. They committed to a server rollback, "as a last option".

EA's Canadian Jason DeLong has predicted that "in the near future" prices of games will go down, with launch titles being shorter in trade.

These titles will then be bolstered by "episodic material" like DLC - think Burnout Paradise. Already Dragon Age has 2 years of content planned.

Cinemaware co-founder Bob Jacob has told us something we all know well, sadly, that movie tie-in projects are bad and make us cringe.

The "inherent problems" relate to time, as movies take a year to reach cinema once green-lit. Games need much more incubation than that.

Actor man Mark Hamill, aka Luke Skywalker, has never been pitched voice-over work for a Star Wars game - and "that's fine" he admits.

He's "outgrown the role" as the Tatooine farm boy, he couldn't revive it now. Played Eidos' Batman: Arkham Asylum? Hamill was The Joker.

Those other FPS games out, with online? They're shallow compared to Battlefield, says Bad Company 2 producer Karl-Magnus Troedsson.

He doesn't "want to judge" others but reckons the Battlefield team has it right when it comes to online play. They got shock paddles and junk!

Digital distribution, yeah it's becoming one of those annoying collection of two words now. Everyone keeps saying it but with good reason.

It's happening. Acti's Andrew Brown gossiped with the platform big boys, asking them when is digital going to murder the retail boxed game.

A survey conducted by MyVoucherCodes.co.uk has shown that a clear chunk of parents don't care for ratings, be they for games or movies.

25 percent play the adult titles with their kids; while 53 percent let the kids watch 18-rated flicks. Music with naughty lyrics? That's 66 percent.

Eric Ruth Games has released Pixel Force: Left 4 Dead, a retro de-make of Valve's zombie shooter Left 4 Dead. It looks and plays like a NES game from 1986, but is free and available to download from Strategy Informer.

Go alone, or invite a friend for 2 player co-op against the zombie apocalypse in all 4 of the original game campaigns. 2 difficulties and all 4 of the survivors make a glorious 8-bit appearance, complete with first and second tier weapons scattered along your path to escape.

BioWare confirmed today that Dragon Age: Origins - Awakening, the first official expansion pack, will be released for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC on 16th March, 2010.

Designed and written by the same team that brought you Dragon Age: Origins, the Awakening expansion pack offers a brand new area of the world to explore known as Amaranthine, featuring an epic story that will allow players to unravel the secrets of the darkspawn - and their true motivations. Peter Moore is big boss of EA Sports, and he's taken the time to clarify that they love Tiger Woods as the "most talented and exciting golfer."

All that business about his business is none of EA's business, they say. Right now though only PGA Tour Online is getting their team's focus.

EA has been very quiet on revealing many specifics about the new and improved Medal of Honor, set in modern day Afghanistan. Too quiet.

Luckily we press types are total blabbermouths, so OXM is teasing what they'll spill next issue. Actual "Tier 1 Ops" were invited to authenticate.

Developer CCP designed EVE Online to operate as a single-server universe, which means a buttload of players on at the same time is assured.

Beating their 35,000 record in September '07 was the milestone of 45,000 concurrents in January '09. Now they've blown past that too.

Painkiller developer People Can Fly, owned by Epic Games since August '07, has recently put their claim to 'Bulletstorm' - so it has guns then?

The Polish team have been mining pixels on a new action game since August '08 and this could be it. It's believed for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.

Sega likes to move fast and has already begun brainstorming some ideas for, "eventually," Alpha Protocol 2. The first game is nearly done.

Bug squishing is all that remains for the spy action-RPG from developer Obsidian. It was due out last year but Sega delayed till Q1 2010.

Developer Blizzard has confirmed that there will be a "Protoss mini-campaign" in the upcoming, Terran-centric 'StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty'.

It's "way shorter" than the Terran part says Blizz, but "very fun to have" a go at. It won't be enough to prepare you for online matches though.
