DICE are working on Battlefield 3, which the COO "had the luxury" of gorping at, along with confirmation that Criterion's Burnout team is to give Need for Speed time in their garage.

EA CEO John Riccitiello believes this impending new age of motion control could end up claiming "half the market," while controllers cling to the other.
He argues that only some games would make a good fit to the tech, a game like FIFA wouldn't do so well on Natal - it would be "frigging tiring" with all that jumping about.

Shane Kim, Microsoft's VP, said if they'd just brought out their own Wiimote then we could have "fairly criticised" them and called it "derivative".
With Natal they want to "reinvent the industry" and won't launch until they have the "entire program ready to go". It's a "real opportunity" to reach out to those without home consoles.

Director man Guillermo del Toro is working with Peter Jackson on The Hobbit, but this movie won't be accompanied by some videogame when it releases.
The team have "such tight release dates" that developing a game would stretch them too thin, though it certainly doesn't rule out something further down the line. Common sense prevails.

The Valve Source-powered Zeno Clash from ACE Team would love to brawl its way onto Xbox Live Arcade, with the devs shopping for a publisher.
If it did go console then they'd add "a little bit of extra content," but that's getting ahead of themselves. Xbox 360 was chosen over PS3 because of Source's optimisation on the platform.

While Microsoft may have lifted the barrier for file size on Xbox Live, one limit can't be broken because of the "technical constraint" involved says Scott Austin.
DLC has slowly been upgraded from 50MB, before being boosted to 150MB and then moving on to 350MB. Microsoft will make exceptions if "there's a quality reason" to do so.

In a bid to "expedite the repair process" of Xbox 360's suffering from RROD, Microsoft has decided to ditch the 'coffin' box they send out to customers.
This allows us to send our bricked consoles to them faster; all we need do is slap a pre-paid e-label on our own box and send it off straight away. Where does one get a 360 box?
