Director guy James Cameroon talked some about the upcoming movie Avatar as well as admitting the videogame made him feel "actually afraid".

This summer will see the grand opening of Microsoft's digital distribution service on Xbox Live, where gamers can buy and download "full retail games on demand".
The service will go live with "about 30 titles" and the Xbox Live team will add new ones "every week." Mass Effect, Assassin's Creed, BioShock and DiRT are just some of the first.

With the acquisition of Eidos by Square Enix it's become no longer necessary for Warner Bros to publish Eidos titles in the US, they'll handle it themselves now.
The upcoming launch of Batman: Arkham Asylum and Mini Ninjas will be the last titles under the deal, where Warner will server "as co-publisher." Everything else will be Square/Eidos.

All Points Bulletin, the urban-themed MMO from Crackdown developer Realtime Worlds is arriving on "PC in early 2010," announced publisher EA.

Yesterday Hideo Kojima stepped up on the Microsoft stage and announced Metal Gear Solid would finally arrive on the platform, to executive delight.
Now it would appear that while it will land on Xbox 360, it will also do the rounds on PS3 and PC. That's according to press site Gamespress, which also lists MGS: Peace Maker for PSP.

During their E3 conference the French publisher revealed they'll be working on a videogame adaptation of Steven Spielberg and Peter Jackson's Tintin film.

Microsoft are upping their game with a host of announcements for Xbox Live.
The Xbox Live Videostore is being upgraded to provide full 1080p HD content, as well as being rebranded to Zune.
Along with the previously announced Sky partnership in Europe, Microsoft are re-introducing movie/TV sharing for Netflix users.
Facebook & Twitter are also being brought to Xbox Live.

Bungie just announced a new Halo titled - Halo:Reach. Due to various leaks, this game had been some-what expected, but it's nice to be vindicated.

LucasArts announced today that the original classic point and click pirate adventure is back, with two new projects underway based on the classic Monkey Island franchise. Beginning in just a few short weeks, Telltale will premiere the Tales of Monkey Island game series, delivering a completely new epic storyline and swashbuckling flair that will unfold across five monthly episodes on PC and WiiWare.
