The latest promo for GameTrailers TV reveals that a "surprise Sony sequel" will be announced on Friday, along with a new Mafia II trailer, the first footage from Puzzle Quest 2 and news on the upcoming Mass Effect 2 DLC.

This should be for a PlayStation 3 title, with us taking a guess at either LittleBigPlanet 2 or Killzone 3?

MyVoucherCodes has posted a report that they believe shows the Xbox 360 Final Fantasy XIII will outsell the PS3 version, thanks to searches.

Most consumers have looked up the 360 title, 250k unique hits in fact, over PS3's 120k. Final Fantasy has always been a "huge draw for Sony".

PlayStation 3 gamers will finally get the latest Dragon Age: Origins DLC next month, having finally "passed certification" with Sony for PSN.

BioWare will be "releasing an update" March 4th, to prepare the game for the DLC. The team "truly appreciate" the patience of PS3.

SEGA and Obsidian has confirmed that Alpha Protocol, the upcoming RPG from the maker's of Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic 2, will be released in Europe on May 28.

Australia gets it slightly earlier on May 27, while the US has to wait until June 1.

Co-creator Tim Cain of Fallout jumped into Bethesda's Fallout 3 "as soon as it came out," and he enjoyed the ride and even replayed it.

It showed they had a "deep understanding" of the Fallout universe, and knowledge of "key aspects". Cain would have "done things differently".

Gearbox boss Randy Pitchford announced during the recent DICE Summit in Las Vegas that new IP Borderlands has sold over 3m so far.

It was 2009's fastest-selling original IP and numbers for 2010 look good. Its third piece of DLC is on the way, hoping to attract even more.

It's what caused The Last Remnant to suffer so on Xbox 360. This is one of the "traps with middleware", to underestimate fine tuning them.

That's a different thing altogether, as it's a "more realistic fit". Toriyama-san admits FFXIII doesn't have "basic RPG" like "towns or shops."

BioWare's upcoming Dragon Age: Awakening will be available as a download title for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC for all when March 16th is here.

However PAL territory PS3 gamers can only get it through the PlayStation Store, whereas Xbox 360 and PC can buy the retail package.

Once again the Final Fantasy brass have flip-flopped on the DLC issue, with producer Yoshinori Kitase now denying any is in the works.

Final Fantasy XIII is "100 percent enjoyable" as it is says Kitase-san, and the team isn't "planning any DLC at this time." Is that Final?

Yoshinori Kitase is a JRPG veteran and legend, having been with Final Fantasy since forever. Once again he's asked about a VII remake.

The PSone had a lot simpler animation, and had no voice acting. Quality "is so high right now" thanks to next-gen. Would be "great experience."

Some recent assets of Final Fantasy XIII on Xbox 360 looked suspiciously clone like to PS3 footage, in fact they were completely identical.

Producer and designer Yoshinori Kitase admits they're "interested" in exploring a possible 3D Final Fantasy XIII. A 3D trailer already exists.

It's being shown in Japanese theatres, usually alongside James Cameron's Avatar. It could be made into a "wider release in the future."

Red Eagle Games and Obsidian Entertainment today announced that it's formed an agreement to create new video games based on Robert Jordan's fantasy series, The Wheel of Time for PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

Japanese RPG 'Resonance of Fate' from Star Ocean developer tri-Ace is out late next month in Europe, for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

It's picked up pretty good scores in Japan already, under the name 'End of Eternity'. It's a steampunk world with dark secrets to discover.
