Ray Muzyka of BioWare, that's Dr. Muzyka, has reaffirmed how committed they are to Dragon Age and Mass Effect with "dedicated investment".

BioWare have "stand alone products, expansion packs" in mind for their "long-term plans" for both new IPs. New gear DLC launched recently.

The reasoning behind Alpha Protocol's delay was to "position it better" and because devs wanted to really "polish the game up" for release.

It was due out last year but since then they've tweaked lighting, spruced up the inventory, and just generally bringing the "quality level up."

Publisher Square Enix has dispelled, once more, rumours that they're working on a HD remake of Final Fantasy VII for PlayStation 3.

It's all down to graphics, as it would take "enormous time" to do it. Final Fantasy XIII is without towns because of quality demands.

Developer Obsidian Entertainment, who consist of ex-Black Isle veterans, are handling Fallout: New Vegas using Fallout 3's engine.

It's not a direct sequel to events in Bethesda's Fallout 3, and is due out this year. We're told to keep our "eyes peeled" for new info today.

No, Mass Effect 2 won't be fighting the Collectors on the PlayStation 3 despite nosey fans having found some "PS3 code" in the game.

BioWare's Chris Priestly points out that the "Unreal Engine is cross platform", that's why it was found. Mass Effect 2 is for "PC and Xbox 360."

Developer Gearbox Software has unveiled the third piece of DLC for Borderlands, called 'The Secret Army of General Knoxx', with no date yet.

It's the "biggest DLC" so far and takes player level caps higher. New enemies, gear, vehicles and a whole new area come with it.

Developer BioWare has announced that Dragon Age: Origin's Return to Ostagar DLC is "back up very soon," it's being re-certified right now.

More new downloadable content is "coming in the next week or so" revealed boss Ray Muzyka. Return to Ostagar was pulled ages ago.

Producer Yoshinori Kitase says they've prepared DLC and it'll arrive "a little later in the west." Now he's quoted as saying they're "not considering it."

Project director Casey Hudson of BioWare confirms something we pretty much already knew, that Hollywood is salivating over Mass Effect.

Hudson says the team "don't just want" a movie to come out, they'd want "a great movie" - if such a thing was to "get done at all." They'll wait.

Borderlands will be getting a level cap raise in future DLC teases developer Gearbox. It's the "biggest DLC we have made" they add.

The studio team is working "really hard right now" on both a title update to squish bugs, and on the new downloadable content. Hooray!

Final Fantasy XIII Collector's Edition revealed

GameStop Italy is listing a Collector's Edition of Final Fantasy XIII, which is packed with items that will please any European fans who pre-order the game.

Priced at €79,98 (around £69), the bundle includes the game, either PS3 or Xbox 360, an Art book, the official sound track, some art cards and a comic. There aren't any pictures yet but if we find any we'll be sure to let you know.

RPG Last Rebellion's western dates, on PS3 March 12th in Europe

Nippon Ichi's Last Rebellion, a turn-based role-playing game, is coming to the west next month for North America and in March for Europe.

It's a PS3 exclusive featuring two lead characters; one warrior and one magic. It launches in Japan January 28th. It's rather close to FFXIII's date.

A two and a half minute clip, allegedly of GRIN's Final Fantasy: Fortress, has spilled on to the Internets. The Swedish developer is no more.

Just in case you forgot that. The host of the clip says the title is "still supported" by Square Enix, and continues work at an "undisclosed studio".
