EA has announced its lineup for E3:
Electronic Arts today unveiled the games it will feature at the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) at the Los Angeles Convention Center July 15 – 17. The games -- scheduled to ship on multiple platforms in 2008 and early 2009 – include riveting graphics, deep stories and online, socially connected experiences. EA’s portfolio covers many genres and platforms for core gamers and new players alike.
Sega has sent Strategy Informer the official final box art shot for Empire: Total War.
Introversion Software also announced today that its upcoming multiplayer version of Darwinia, Multiwinia: Survival of the Flattest will be released on the PC this September.
Also mentioned was Darwinia+, the Xbox Live Arcade release that will contain both multiplayer and singleplayer campaigns, should be released at the end of this year.
Introversion has announced that its working with Channel 4 on a new game called Chronometer, which is in the pre-production phase of development and is likely to be released on the PC, but no information on what platforms it will appear on has been given.

KDV Games announced today that it's currently developing a sequel to the RTS Perimeter, which has been named Perimeter 2: New Earth and is scheduled to be released for the PC. No release date has been given.

SouthPeak Games today announced Raven Squad: Operation Hidden Dagger for the Xbox 360 and PC, coming to stores this fall. Published by Evolved Games, Raven Squad is set in the near future. The game is a unique blending of real-time strategy and first-person shooter genres.
You may have to find a new package to go in that "reserved-for-Starcraft 2" spot under the Christmas tree this year. Earlier this month several online retailers listed a tentative release date for Starcraft 2 of December 3, 2008, however speculation is now rife that Starcraft 2 will not ship in 2008 at all following the panel presentation given by Blizzard Executive Vice President of Game Design, Rob Pardo, at the 2008 Blizzard Worldwide Invitational.

In an open letter to the world, Microsoft’s Corporate Vice President of LIVE, Software and services John Schappert has told consumers that things are looking up for PC gaming.

2K Games announced today that its developing Sid Meier’s Civilization IV: Colonization, the next offering in the Civilization IV universe. Conceived from the ground up to take advantage of the Civilization IV engine, Colonization will be available fall 2008 exclusively for Games for Windows.
THQ has released the first Gameplay Trailer for Dawn of War 2, which is coming to the PC in Q1 2009.

Kalypso Media has told Strategy Informer that they've had to delay the European release of Sins of a Solar Empire due to manufacturing issues. The delay will see a few days difference, as it's now scheduled to be released on 20th June, 2008.
